Though this vacuum is spendy, it is a fabulous product. Definitely has the power of a Dyson. I can vacuum up all my kids crumbs and dirt from the entry, kitchen and dining and I haven't run out of battery life yet. Takes me only 10 mins or so though. Works well on carpet too, though I bought the hard floor tool that goes with it and love that on my floor. This vacuum can actually handle all the crumbs my kids drop around our table where as my other cordless broom vacuum couldn't suck them up.
I love this vacuum. It does an amazing job on stairs, is light weight, no cord to trip over. It is not very loud but I am amazed on how much hair and dirt it picks up. We have a cat and dog so we have lots of hair. I originally bought this for our camper but may have to buy another one cause I like it for using at home too.
We just purchased this Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Hand and Stick Multi-Floor Vacuum Cleaner. It is so awesome and very easy to use. We have a roomba but of course it will got do anything in corners of ceilings, sofas, etc. So this dyson does all that for us and I cannot be happier with it. We threw out our old floor vacuum that had a stick after purchasing this. It is very lightweight. I have fibromyalgia and it is so convenient for me to move around /carry and use this. It actually makes vacuuming fun.
I am 71 year old female and I assembled the stick dyson and attached the charger plate to the wall. I love the ease to use and also how it sucks up everything, it gets under the bed and furniture good too. Wish I had got it sooner.
My husband and I just love this cordless lithium battery powered Dyson. We have owned a lot of different vacuums over many years and this one is the best one. Our regular vac is a Dyson cannister plug-in model which we also love, but for portability and small job versatility this unit meets all of our needs completely.
I LOVE this vacuum. My other vac is a Rainbow, which I like a lot, but for daily vacuuming, is a pain in the butt to haul everything out and clean it all up afterward. The Dyson, is light, picks up dirt and cat hair very well. I also got the extra attachments, which makes cleaning a breeze. This stick vac is easily converted to a very light weight hand vac, that blows other hand vacs away. I have one complaint with it (which I knew about from reading other reviews). You have to hold the switch in the entire time you are using the vacuum. I understand he concept (not wasting battery), but it does get a little tiring. Battery seems to last the time stated. I have 2 cats, one a medium white haired that sheds all the time. This vac cleans up the hair easily. The bad reviews about it pushing hair around the carpets instead of picking it up? I have found that if you are cleaning hair on carpet and you lift the head a little off the floor, the vacuum picks it up and sucks it all the way in the vac instead of hanging on the rollers and being spit back on the carpet. Hopes this helps others. Overall, the vac is $300, which is pricey, and I'm not sure it's worth that much ($300 is tough to come by) but it is a VERY good vac, for its versatility, battery operation, and it's cleaning ability. I am VERY happy I bought it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this floor cleaner. I have the pet vacuum and love it, now in between complete cleaning I can use this stick vacuum. It is awesome and doesn't lose power. The only thing I would change is the off/on switch. I'd make it so you don't have to hold the button on all the time.
We needed to supplement our other two vacuum cleaners with something that could do the stairs and get cobwebs around the ceiling. This DC35 is the first version of his hand held and it is wonderful, but has a very limited run time. With the trigger on off we can get the stairs done on one charge. The extension gets up to the ceiling without having to stand on anything. Also great for getting under furniture and picking up the little jobs.
Good design! Great product! Gets the job done! It will get a five star rating if it could be recharged standing alone against a wall near a power supply. This product is not designed to stand alone. It is top heavy and the powered multi-head tool is pivoted. Without hanging it up or laying it flat on the floor, it just won't stay put. I live in a small, rented accommodation. There isn't much room to hang things on the wall. To drill holes on the wall to hang things definitely is not a good idea in my situation. Presently, I recharge it laying flat on the floor near a power supply near my bed. That is not convenient. Must I dismantle it every time to recharge it so that I won't accidentally step on it? Dyson! Please improve the design so that this product can stand up by itself without falling.
I got this thing thinking "Ooohhh, it's Dyson, so it must be great!" It's not. You have to hold the button down the entire time you vacuum with it, and it only lasts like 8 minutes when fully charged. The thing is useless and I returned it 2 days later. I would have returned it sooner but I didn't want to make a special to Walmart just to return this vacuum. I have an Electrolux Ergo Rapido I bought for $100 at Kohls, and it works better than this $300 vacuum. Don't waste your time or money on this vacuum, you'll be happier with whatever you're already using.
