I'm well pleased by purchasing this small heater for my garage. Well constructed with steel black matte outer shell, stainless steel innards and handy wall bracket supplied loose for positioning on rear of unit. Convenient propane hook-up on bottom, and regulator with hose supplied separately. You'll want to put a smiley face on this one! highly recommended
Just what I was looking for, does not take up much space and has electronic ignition, easy to install wall mount system and an affordable price
We purchased this heater for our hunting cabin and it turned out to be much better than we expected. Super easy to use and multiple setting options allow us to it keep the cabin as warm as we choose. Having the temperature control is a game changer. We’re already planning to get our next one to put install in our guest cabin.
I researched and read user reviews for all sizes and brands. I thought I wanted a 30,000 BTU device but after reading the consumption rate I changed my mind. I also came to understand that having a thermostat with auto cutoff and auto restart was a big player in the overall efficiency. Finally, I did not want to be woken up at night with a continuous burst of bright light as it cycled on / off. This device checked all the boxes for me. It is extremely efficient, no flashing bright light and keeps me warm to the temperature that I choose. Very, Very pleased.
Unlike the new Ice House heaters on the market, this one has 5 settings and a thermostat. I have reduced my propane use in the lambing shed by half compared to using a similar heater newer model with just a high and low setting. Paid for its self in a month. Only wish there was a blower to push heat down, but still a huge improvement over a Mr. Buddy.
I have been using this brand and model for years and they have always been great vacuums, so why would I buy anything else?
I purchased this and installed it in my new ice shack build. I haven’t gotten to spend a day on the lake yet to give it a good test because of ice conditions. I have had it running for a couple hours here and there while working on the inside of the shack and seemed to heat it quite well. If it works good this winter I might purchase another one for my deer stand.
Pleased with the "blue flame" heating method-I find it more comfortable than the "radient" method previously used for my small cabin. My 1 star deduct has to do with the installation manual-riddled with errors and incomplete, e.g. tells you how to take it apart without mentioning why one would want to do so. When you figure out it is to install spacers between the cabinet and the wall, you can't really get it apart as they describe without taking a hammer to it. I left the included spacers out and found another way. Happy with the performance so far but will go American made next time simply because the written material sucks.
No info was given until the item was shipped and installed that this may not be left unattended. It is written in the manual, but no place on any website. I checked, the h depot, lows, amzn, or even mr heater own website. Then northern wants ME to pay return shipping for a VERY large oversight? The gave me a "one time curtesy" return after first telling me to ship it myself.They threatened me with collections if I told my card to stop payment. I thought they were reputable.
I really think this is a very weak 6.5 hp vacuum. I had a craftsman that was rated 6.5 hp and the craftsman was much stronger. The hose on this isn't much bigger than a household vacuum. The attachments only will plug into the hose not the extensions, that's not even reasonable to think that someone wouldn't use the extensions without the attachments. Maybe they make an adaptor but why wouldn't it come with it. The adaptor that comes with it will only let you use attachments directly to hose. I expect much more from Shopvac than this piece of garbage.
