this is some really good quality jewelry. I wear them in my ears. For earrings I highly recommend them because they don't break and they stay in good.they are a nice size.
I started to stretch my ears a few months ago and i bought all my gauges from wal-mart and they defiantly worked out well for me. They serve there purpose and in store there are many more choices fyi.
I bought the 2-pair plastic horseshoe earrings. The earrings themselves are really light, colorful, and comfy but the balls don't like to stay on. Since they're plastic you don't want to over-tighten them or the balls may split but I've had several times where I'll be talking to someone or checking out at a store etc. when I'll suddenly see a little ball go bouncing away from me; oftentimes I don't even notice they're gone until it's too late. I've lost two pairs of balls for each set of earrings so far. They still work for stretching your ears as the balls are really just cosmetic but if you're planning on just wearing them to stretch I'd suggest gluing the balls on and just cutting/snapping the earring off when you're ready to size-up. A captive would make much more sense for plastic like this.
I used these as lip rings and sense these balls are plastic they broke after 2 days... they just snaped in half when i was tighting the ball... i thought they looked cool... and it did for a few days until they all broke... i use plastic in my tounge and those have not broke... but i did buy them somewhere else... and i also tried them in my ear after some broke in my lip and i was having the same problem... they kept breaking on me... i recommend metal for the lip and gaged ears they dont break!!!
