Impressed at the power of this cordless Hand Vac 15.6V I woud recommend it!
I am very happy with this product. suction is great!! I use it on my dark hardwoods that show absolutely everything and my bathroom for my long hair that falls everywhere. Only minor complaint is the blue extended piece does get pushed in at times but I don't use it for my car, so it's not a big deal. I am very very satisfied.
Works well-holds charge and extends for easier bending...
If you buy this product make sure to keep the warranty My dustbuster lasted about 7 months now it has be plugged for hours & only keeps a charge for 5-10 minutes then its back to charging it again
When it works, it is great. But battery fails shortly. The replacement unit also fails on the battery. The battery is non- replaceable. The good thing is Black Ducker has great warranty service, replacing three times within one year.
This is my third B&D handheld vac. The one I bought 20 years ago worked like a champ until I could no longer find a replacement battery. I bought a newer one around 2010, but was disappointed with the battery life. I bought the CV1510 in 2015 and the battery life is worse yet. I have some B&D yard tools which are great. I wish the handvacs worked as well as the yard tools.
We were so excited for our dustbuster- I wondered how I ever lived my adult life without one. But in less than a year, the battery stopped holding charge. So bad that we can only use it for max one minute at a time. I wanted this to last but, it just didn't. And I assume the replacement battery pack would perform the same so would not be a worthwhile investment.
We have owned a model 1510 for a couple years and the battery has gone dead - will not take a charge. It appears that the company does not provide a replacement battery for the unit. I can find clear instructions on how to open up the unit and remove the battery for recycling, but nowhere can I find a replacement battery pack. The vacuum is still in good condition so it is ridiculous that they don't offer a replacement battery. Obviously B&D would rather sell you new stuff than supply spare parts for the things you already own. I have owned Dustbuster hand vacuums since they first came out, but this is the last one I intend to by!
I bought one two years ago and the batteries started losing charge within the first three months. I'd have to keep the thing plugged in all the time just so I could use it for a quick three-minute clean up. I was going to replace the batteries, but the replacement cells cost as much as a brand-new DustBuster!!! I finally had to get rid of it, sadly. IF YOU'RE READING THIS BLACK & DECKER, the DustBuster name is a brand that most people know and, seemingly, trust. Develop a DustBuster with REMOVABLE and RELIABLE battery packs. Otherwise, you WILL lose a loyal customer base.
I bought this a little over 2 years ago. I don't use it often, just for those little spill and hard to reach places. I had it charged and wasn't able to get much done before the battery ran out. Charged again overnight...and didn't last but a few minutes! From the other reviews I have been reading I will not purchase a new battery like I was planning just to have it happen again!
