Excellent with sausage, chicken and shrimp combined and served with potatoe salad on the side.
easy to make, and very good
No. sugar. gluten free. no artificial flavors, no MSG added, low sodium, and made with vegetables, Good flavor.
I love this rice mix as a base for a one pot dish to which I add chicken or smoked sausage, canned diced tomatoes with green chilies, %26 canned black beans, some red pepper flakes. Yum, yum! Good by itself as a side dish too
This item is a great starter with sausage and chicken. We love it. Or you can add shrimp.
The seasoning packed with the low sodium version is better tasting than the regular version. You're going to get salt in the sausage and/or chicken you add so I like it better. Toss in a few pepper flakes and let it rip. Sit down and eat, tomorrow could be a different story. Good hunting
Best boxed jambalaya out there. Doctor it up with fresh diced bell pepper. onion, celery and garlic and you won't be able to tell iy from scratch made.
I use this as base ingredients to my jambalaya. I start by sautéing onions (you can add fresh bell peppers, celery too) in butter. Next I add my sausage and brown it, and then I add box mixture and follow water and cooking instructions. Really good.... I prefer to add fresh ingredients then though the box doesn't call for it.
I bought this product thinking it was a complete meal and only had to add the meat. Unfortunately, they did not add the spice, so I read the ingredients and added them myself. Just a heads up to what you have on the shelf.
What happened to this product? This was once a family favorite ,but the last couple of times we fixed it , it had no favor or seasonings. Not worth it even at this price.
