I love this loom! Its so nice for learning on. Ive always wanted to try to work on a loom but price always was in the way. The price is so perfect making it an even better value.
i love it .nice and sturdy
I've always liked Native American crafts and jewelry, but have never tried a bead loom until now. It cost less than I thought it would and I have tons of seed beads, so it really didn't require a big financial commitment to try it. I had a little trouble setting up the loom at first, but once i got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun to use.
When I got this, I had never used a bead loom! But after reading the instructions and watching a video on how to do it (you can find many videos), I was bead weaving in no time at all!!! I am very excited I discovered this new technique!!!! Can't wait to keep learning!
I was looking for a new craft/hobby to do and I think I found it. Even thoough threading the loom was a little bit difficult that's definitely something that I would look over because it's such a relaxing hobby to do like you really don't put too much thought into it you just find a pattern and you make it; simple.
I have never used a bead loom before and assumed it was difficult. I watched a YouTube video just to become familiar with how to use. It wasn't as hard as I thought and this is great to learn on and use as a newbie with little financial investment.
Truthfully I wasn't expecting much, but I wanted to try bead weaving and didn't want to spend a lot to try it. I am quite surprised. While it is far from perfect, it worked great. You can really crank the strings tight to make it easier. I didn't use the incredibly tiny 11/0 beads that came with it. I bought some 6/0 beads. I think 8/0 would be better but I am very happy with the results.
This is a great size loom. It works great for making narrow items like wrap bracelets, hat bands and just bracelets. It was easy to load with the thread, and after I got the hang of keeping the tension correct, it works great. I will re-load my thread, with much longer warps so I can make many projects in one threading. Easy to travel with also.
The metal loom came in bent from everything else being shoved into the box. I haven't made anything yet but I'm willing to bet the quality won't be as good as it should.
Not good for 10/0 seed beads or smaller....warp threads too far apart. Would work with 8/0 or larger.
