I though I would never find this sauce on the west coat ever!!! But thx to Walmart, found my yum again!!! I love this sauce and could eat it daily!!! I was so upset when they sold out again I wanted to buy 100000 jars but I couldn'tso I'll settle for 11.
I bought this for my dad. He has always used this stuff and recently our stores have stopped carrying it in store. He was excited to see it. Please put it back in stores.
Walmart has a nasty habit of bringing high quality, good tasting foods into their stores, then suddenly discontinuing them for no apparent reason. Take, for example, the Brown's Dairy milk products that are very popular here in the Gulf States. The brand became part of the giant Dean Foods company a few years back, but has largely disappeared from the stores in my area. That's just one example, I could list others, but I need to get to the point about why you need to give this new Hormel product a try— even though it costs about 28% more than the two major competitors. They say you get what you pay for, and in this case, you really do. This Sloppy Joe sauce has a richer taste and a firmer texture than the Manwich product that is, presumably, the biggest seller in the Sloppy Joe category. If I may say so, Hormel's Not-So-Sloppy-Joe sauce is a lot more adult tasting. Because of its texture, it seems to adhere to your ground beef a bit better, and its taste is a bit more subtle... to the point that it allows you to still taste your ground beef (or turkey, I guess). Would I recommend this to a friend? You betcha!
We love it! Too bad we couldn't buy by the case
When I lived back East I could buy this product like it was water. When I moved West I couldn't find it anywhere (except for a dollar store once) so I went to the internet to look found it for double the price. I love the taste too
Not sure if this is being made anymore but is the only sloppy joe mix that we like. Found some in stock in a walmart in the next town over and cleaned them out. Very tangy.
They have discontinued the not so sloppy Joe by hornet it was by far the best voice I'm going to miss it
Very good
I ordered 3 jars a few months ago and I received all 3 jars broken. I returned them but never got a refund. This is my favorite sauce so very disappointed.
We love this sloppy joe mix and can't find it locally, but the shipment arrived with a shattered jar of sauce. Several jars had the safety seal broken, and the entire package was just covered in glass shards and sauce. Please do a better job at packing these for shipment! Trying to communicate the issue to an actual person at Walmart customer service has been difficult.
