I found this to be a great product. Keeps my cats out of places I donât want them such as on my kitchen table, or my kitchen countertops. Iâve seen people say that it runs out of air quickly. I havenât noticed that to be a problem, if you make sure youâve not set the sensor to be to extremely sensitive to motion. The sensor IS motion activated with the sensitivity being adjustable. I have two very nosy cats that like to go places they have no business being. Lol.
I put them everywhere I don't want my animals. Under Christmas trees, on furniture, etc.
Works great in the house at keeping my cats out of trouble!
What I like is it works. My dislike is, the last can I ordered looked like it had been seating on a shelf in a storage room for a long time. The can had been leaking and had dried. The bottom of the can was all rusted. I was lucky it still worked. Should have been written off as damaged goods. But, It does work and I will continue to use this product.
Very difficult to set sensor-everytime I pass the can it sprays, the cat not so much-I bought 3 of these thinking this was the counter cruising solution.....my little Bengal has figured out exactly where to step to avoid triggering can PLUS he's no longer startlled or afraid of air from watching it spray everytime I walk by.......may work for scaredy cats?
likes is it works great dislike is the price. thats alot just for a can of air
Although this works, they are way TOO EXPENSIVE!!
I had high hopes for this product (3rd time trying) but have been let down with the last two. One can sprayed continuously even when no one was around. The very last one was emptied with one week of setting up. For the amount charged for the items, they should work better and last longer.
What is marketed as a "harmless spray" is, in fact, very harmful—especially when it is dispensed rapidly, potentially into your cat's eyes and face. This uses a substance called R(efrigerant)-134a, or tetrafluoroethane—the same chemical used in home refrigerators and air conditioners. The cold and intensity of the blast at close range carry a real risk of permanent damage your cat's eyesight or hearing. This is also terrible for the planet. According to the EPA, it has an atmospheric lifespan of around 14 years and a global warming potential of about 1300, a measure of heat retention compared to the same volume of carbon dioxide. Effectively, releasing this chemical has the same effect as releasing 1300 times the amount of carbon dioxide.
They didn't seem to last very long. I did ask the merchant if they had been partially used and he said no. Nonetheless, I have used these for years and know how long they should last. I get them from a reputable Pet store or vet. Chewy is a good source.
