i liked the way it made my face feel
I love micellar waters for refreshing my face throughout the day, and this jelly water version is probably my favorite so far! It has a nice cooling feel and easily takes off makeup while cleaning. I use this one at night and the Vitamin C in the morning.
I am OBSESSED with Garnier micellar products. This one is awesome, too. I didn't realize it was more of an essence than the traditional micellar water products; meaning it is slightly thicker. It is awesome at helping to remove makeup and just refresh skin. I will absolutely repurchase and I recommend to anyone that likes “fat water” products. It makes skin feel refreshed and supple.
This stuff really gives a feeling of matte, without making skin feel dried out. I gave a terrible review of another of their micellar waters because it made my skin so oily. This one is exactly what I have always wanted in a micellar water. it's not a watery liquid but more of a thin gel liquid. The charcoal really does absorb oil and make my face feel clean but it does something more than that. It makes my pores look smaller and almost makes me look like I'm wearing powder because of the pore shrinking effect. I think it's leaving a layer of invisible charcoal (I have pale skin) that is continuing to keep oil at bay for hours. Usually, my face produces oil an hour and a half after I wash it. My face gets shiny that quickly after applying makeup, even powder foundation. It's annoying and embarrassing. People have assumed I'm sweating when I"m not. A doctors notes once said "patient is diaphoretic" which means sweaty. When I wasn't. Just shiny. If I spend the night in the hospital, they don't think I've washed my hair or showered that day. When I have. The face oil gets into my hair around my face and makes it look oily too. So, anything that helps with all of that is hugely appreciated. That's why I'm sharing all of this with you. Because if you are like me and trying to decide between this formula and their other mattifying one, please stop now and just try this stuff. I'm considering rubbing it into my temple hair and around ears to see if it prevents the unwashed look 4 hours after I've washed my hair, too.
I've been using this product for 2 weeks now and it seems to be doing a good job of removing makeup. And my skin feels good, no weird breakouts.
I highly recommend this! It is tough on dirt and makeup, but also gentle on sensitive skin.
This stuff works wonders for my skin! It does leave my skin a tad dry but nothing that some good moisturizer won't fix. It's safe to use on the eyes to remove eye makeup and works to clean out the pores.
Most miscellar cleansers are watery as they are supposed to be, but thJellyWater is very different. Garnier brsnd is black with charcoal. After using countless bottles of the other formulas this brand carries I was thrown for a loop when it came out like jelly. It doesn't soak into the cleansing pad I use. so you need to apply it differently so you don't lose your product all over the place. I personally will go back to the other formulas this one does what it says it's supposed to do! Give it a try...I am learning everyday with this formula and by the time I get to the end of the bottle... I'll be a pro!
I've tried all of the garnier miceller waters and they have worked great for me. The jelly is such an uncomfortable feeling on my face and it BURNS if it gets in your eyes. I hate when a product is meant to be used around the eyes but it's super unsafe if it gets inside. No makeup remover should burn. This micellar water is straight up trash and whoever designed it is BANANAS.
I dont like the texture I thought it would be cool and calming but it burns my eyes and I do not put it in my eyes. It's just not the best. I would buy the other kind.
