Really amazing Tv Stand!!! My boyfriend and I got it when we moved into our new place! I will say it did take a while to set up. There were a crap ton of pieces but had everything nicely labeled for assembly. But it was absolutely worth the time and effort!!
The unit is sturdy and relatively easy to assemble. However, the door assemblies at each end are heavy and need to be supported well during installation of the hinges. Plenty of room for DVD storage. We ultimately chose to wall-mount our TV but had it on the unit for several days. At 80 lbs., the TV was well supported by the TV stand. Overall, a nice product at a good price.
I am mostly pleased. Instructions were easy to follow. You have to be careful if only one person is assembling. I had to use hammer to tap in some of the pegs. Cam screws will strip easy if over tightened. Followed instructions to a T but for some reasons like a lot of the reviews say, doors will not close evenly. Im pretty satisfied after that. Lots of space for DVDs and small books. Like that goes are already cut out in back for cords. It holds my 65 inch with room left on sides. Bought the brown one, the color is nice. Next time I will purchased one that is already assembled. For the $209 price paid, I think materials should have been a little better. But you get what you pay for. As you can see doors and top are not flush.
I thought it was going to be as long as specs said but it isn't. With the side doors open it is but the specs don't tell you that. I. Really wanted a longer cabinet but since it's all put together now it will hAve to do. It should tell you with doors shut the measurements and with them open the measurements. Not to HAPPY about this. It is a nice cabnet
It took my husband a couple of hours to put this together for our living room but he did so with no struggles. I thought it came out so pretty and that the picture online did not do it justice. I love the color and how much space it offers for my movies. All of our electronic equipment fit with no problem. Also love that it came with the pre drilled holes for the cords to go through.
Ordered the stand thru walmart.com and was delivered to the local walmart. Unpacked and no damage. well packaged. It took a few hours putting it together easy but tedious. No issues. mak sure you don't over tighten the wood screws as they are easy to strip. And make sure to use wood glue for the wood guide pins. Table looks good for the price considering it's particle laminated wood. But it does look laminated. Don't expect the "real wood" look. I knew it was particle board so it met my expectations. Overall I'm happy with this and plenty of room to store stuff. I like the component not being covered by a glass door. I would recommend this product for the price.
It was very easy to put together (did most of it alone). I did need help putting it all together after I got all the hardware where it was supposed to go. It looks nice but had a problem after most of it was put together. The botton part broke on one side and it looked like it was cardboard/fiberboard. I didn't expect it to be so flimsey on the bottom. The unit is about 100 pounds.
I am happy with the product itself...But I do believe that the people at the store that handled it were not very professional....and I am not happy with the doors on the front of cabinet, they do not hang properly...
Love everything about this item - except that when you actually put DVD's in the sides, the doors become weighted down and uneven. We have had to keep adjusting the hinges to try to make the doors level. So far have not been able to get the doors filled with the DVD's even and level. :(
It's sold for TVs up to 65" but it comes with a CAUTION label stating it's for TVs up to 60". There's no such warning printed on the box or the instructions, so, unfortunaly I found out about that "little" detail right after I was done. First dissapoiment. Assembling steps and overall process are well ilustrasted and all parts (including screws and nots) were properly labeled, making it really easy. It took me about 3 hours to put it together on my own, pretty sure it could be 2 hours or less with a second person helping. Second and greatest disappoinment, once assembled and when trying to turn it over to its right position, the right side of the base broke, which caused that whole side to practically collapse, then, trying to avoid more damage, tried to moved it around what caused the other side to brake and collapse as well. I need to say this is not the first item that I assemble and even when I know they're all fragiles, nothing like this one.
