i bought this last friday and I'm a newbie ,fly right out of the box put my phone in the holder launched the app and i got live streaming video of the neighbour hood from 70 feet love it crashed a few times and the props didn't spin so all i had to do was replace the screws in the props that also comes in the goody bag ,so i got a second one just so i could have an extra battery and charger.they also so come with free parts for a year from Propel in Texas.
My wife got me one for Christmas and within 15mins I was flying. I love it
the controling is tarible i got fresh and i start flying but next i fly over tree and lost conection with controler but for prise not bad and the drone it self.
I love the look of this Quadcopter. However, that's all I can really say about it. I opened it brand new and it did not come with the little wire to charge the battery. Its the weekend so I cannot talk to the company until Monday..... Maybe I just got 1 in a million or maybe its a problem across the board..
Got it for CHRISTMAS. New out the box . I started with my IPad. It would leave the ground. And go right. I sit trim max. Still going right. And two props stopped turning.Used control that came with it . No change. Not a good day
After charging it up I took it for the inaugural flight, and not too bad for a newbie but a little crash on landing that broke the flimsy plastic propeller guards. "Free parts for a year" so I called Propel and they said 7-10 days that I would have a new guard... (shipping isn't included either by the way...) Well it has been three weeks and still no parts. So Christmas gift with a whopping 5 minutes of flight and now a month since Christmas and still waiting for parts. I guess that is how they limit the free parts... :(
The price was good but the drone had a propeller come off mid flight and sent the drone crashing to the ground damaging the motor. SD card comes loose and corrupts the video. I would say the camera is HD only when still. Other wise its bad. If there is more than a mild breeze forget about flying it. It was easy to fly but with the propeller problem and camera quality Im going to say this isn't a great buy. Only lasted 5 crash free flights before rendering the drone un-usable.
I got this drone as a gift but within a week the arm broke right off and I didn't even crash it, it's very cheaply made and the plastic breaks quickly which sucked but a drone with a camera and that size for such a low price was to good to be true.
This is a really bad product. I brought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter, but the first time i tried to fly it, it took off and flew in one direction regardless of my controls. The second time, it started props, but as soon as I hit 'Auto Land' button, everything got shut off. Returning the product.
When it flew it was great and fun. But the battery never charged after that. And this is no longer being sold on the manufacturers website.
