Works as it should. Setting time is a bit more difficult than my previous LaCrosse. Not sure if it's me or the clock.
I bought one of these La Crosse Wireless Temperature gauges 15 years ago. Since then I have added several other brands for a different location on my property. All the other brands have gone to the waste basket, some sooner, some later, but the La Crosse just keeps on working. Don't know about ALL the brands, but I'm only buying La Crosse in the future, .. should one of the two I now have quit.
It's exactly what I needed for the size and so very easy to set up. Nice bright readout and the range is much longer than the other brands for the size.
Easy to use with a lot of measurements
My own fault for not checking the specifications on this. It's much smaller than I thought it would be. Also, this item requires batteries for the unit and for the outdoor temperature sensor which were not included. Other than that, it works good.
So far it works great. The only complaint is setting it. Directions aren't very clear and changing isn't very easy. thank goodness don't have to change again unless something happens.
You get what yo pay for. Don't think its very accurate; The Max Min feature only tells Max/Min for the last 24 hours. Easy to install outdoor sensor. I would spend another $20 for a few more features.
in your ad the size of product was 10.0 x7.5 x1.5 it turn out to be 4.0 x4.5 x1.0. we were expecting the larger size. very disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend if it matched the description given for the item. It was suppose to be 10 1/2 inches long and 7 inches high it is only 4 inches by 4 1/4 inches. The company wouldn't do anything about it so I contacted Walmart and they gave me a $10 gift card. I like the weather station, but it is not what I wanted when I ordered.
If you need to see the lowest/highest temp for last 24 hours you have pick the unit up and go to the back to press the respective keys. And that is for just from the middle of last night nor for 48 or more hours. does not have a back-light. The design is terrible.
