Doesnt spill, easy for baby to hold
My 18 month old has primarily used straw cups and no spill sealing edge cups and both leak if thrown on the floor with force. Previously, we've used the straw cups for milk and found that milk just bubbles out when we take out of the fridge and to the table due to pressure, which causes such a mess when we don't pay attention. The Chicco Semi-Soft Trainer Cup hardly leaks even when thrown from a high chair (just make sure you remember the spill proof valve is intact--unless you want free flow, which will probably leak if tipped over). We don't use the handle, but for a younger toddler learning to grasp, it is configurable with handles and it also comes with a cover which is great for traveling. My toddler can easily hold the cup because of it's shape with narrower mid section. The spout isn't flimsy and has held up to our toddler's teeth, unlike other brands where the silicone is torn after frequent use. The cup is easy to clean daily and I do appreciate the volume markings on the side. While I would love a stainless steel option, this cup is great as an everyday cup that does not leak if value is used correctly and I'm not left cleaning up spilled milk everywhere! We love the spout trainer cup! It's so easy for my daughter to use, has an easy grip, and super easy to clean (my personal favorite). I also love that the plastic piece inside is interchangeable with some of my other Chicco cups. This makes it much easier to locate rather than fidget between multiple plastic parts.
Sturdy sippy cup. The semi-soft spout is great for my teething 7 month old. Good price for the 2 pack.
Love these! I love that they are actually spill proof, the lid comes off and so does the handle. The colors and design are perfect and best of all my baby loves them and they are perfect for his transition from bottle to sippy cup.
My son is 16 months old and we received this Chicco trainer cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in the mail to test. He is transitioning away from a bottle to some form of a cup for drinking milk out of before bedtime. I was really hoping he would be able to use this trainer cup as his moves from bottle to sippy cup. I found that I wished that the trainer cup held a little more in terms of ounces, as my son drinks about 9 ounces before bed each night. The Chicco trainer cup doesn't hold quite that much liquid. I liked the handles, but wished they weren't completely stationary and had the ability to move back and forth. One thing I really liked was that no matter how my son turned this sippy cup, the liquid did not spill out and that he had no problem drinking out it, no matter what angle he turned the it to. I absolutely love the cute design and the color of this cup and so did my son. It was very easy for him to find in the cabinet himself because of its bright color. The curved design made it easier for my son to hold with his own hands. The spout is also a bite-resistant one, but I did not find my son trying to chew it. Although, I could see this being a very effective tool to keep some children from biting the tip off of their sippy cup spout. I bought these for baby's first but they are a little awkward and the handle construction and the way the lid Works makes it a little difficult for baby's first. Also it is a little difficult to align the handles and the sippy cup spout for babies use
the nozzle could be silicone,it would be easier for children.
One of the bottles came with a broken piece...
Couldn't wait to try these sippy cups, so quickly bought them for my grandson. They arrived without the inside stopper\release valve\drink flow piece. Therefore liquid just pours out of them! I would love the missing pieces to these cups
