This powder is so calming! It has really helped my body and mind feel relaxed! I'm training for a marathon so my body is often very sore at night and the magnesium in the product is really such a great add! You will notice in the picture I posted that this product isn't just melatonin, but several things combined to make for a good night sleep! Now if only they made a kids version I could give to my kids...then I'd really get a good nights sleep! The only drawback to this stuff is that it doesn't disolve super well...but it doesn't taste gross so it's easy to throw it back even though it's grainy! I have mild insomnia and have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep and waking up feeling groggy. I've used quite a few sleep supplements and usually these types of blends don't work for me. This surprised me because it actually did work! I learned I need to relax and let it work instead of just waiting for it to knock me out. It feels me more natural, like a gentle sleepiness. It also helps me stay asleep. I don't wake up as much in the middle of the night. And when I wake up, I feel rested and refreshed, not still groggy. The only small complaint I have is that it doesn't mix well. You're supposed to mix the powder with water or juice but regardless of which I used, the powder never dissolved. So you just kind of get this big gritty mouthful of it. It really doesn't have much of a taste though, so it's not too bad. I don't mind that so much since it works so well overall. I've been using this for a week so far and am thrilled with Sleep. I add a spoonful (see picture) to my water before bed and when I'm ready to go to sleep I go to bed, and find it easy to fall asleep. I don't wake up every few hours like I used to either. So nice to wake up non drowsy , clear headed, well rested to start my day. I used to take magnesium supplements for leg cramps but stopped since Sleep has 200 mg in it. I have tried different sleep aids and this one puts me right to sleep. It gives me a peaceful calm feeling as I drift off to sleep. I wake in the morning feeling rested. I only need to take half a scoopful in order to fall asleep even though recommends a full scoop. The only drawback is it is gritty and the grittiness sticks on my tongue and in my throat. I've tried mixing it in water and in water it has a slight very slight lemon flavor but gritty. I've tried mixing it in Juice and that does not help either it is still gritty. I found that mixing it in warm water or in caffeine-free tea helps to dissolve a lot of the grittiness then you are just left with a slight amount of it. My preference would be to take the youtheory sleep in a capsule form. All in all I like it because I do get a good restful sleep I just do not like the residue left on my tongue and throat. My boyfriend has always had a really hard time staying asleep; So we were hoping that this would remedy some of his problems, while going a more natural route. The flavor of this powder kind of tastes like Aspirin, when mixed with water. When mixed with juice, you are still left with a bitter aftertaste, in your mouth. I would say that this makes you pretty sleepy and ready for bed, about 15 minutes after taking it. The big problem for my boyfriend was that he still woke up all night long, and when he was sleeping, I noticed him tossing, turning, and talking in his sleep while he was on this product. Which is not normal, for him. Obviously, something in it did not agree with him. The reason for the three stars is that I could completely see this working for someone without serious sleep problems, especially if you want to go the more natural route! I used the Sleep powder for several nights in a row and it seemed to work quickly but I didn't feel like it helped me stay asleep like my.normal dose of melatonin does. I also did not care for the powder mix over a pill or capsule as it did not taste the greatest and had a chalky texture even though I kept mixing it well.
