Disco Godfather [DVD] [1979]

Rudy Ray Moore stars in the blaxploitation classic Disco Godfather, which comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include a tour of the film's locations with Moore, restored theatrical trailers, original radio promotional spots, and a trivia game. Although the technical aspects of this Xenon disc leave something to be desired, it is still a good title, especially for genre enthusiasts.
