Even if you are not a hard-core gamer the Razer Nommo Chroma - 2.0 Stereo PC Gaming Chroma Speakers with Custom woven glass fiber 3-inch drivers, are an awesome set of speakers to have. They are uniquely designed, easy to set-up and the sound, well the sound is sublime. If you're are a gamer the clear crisp sound allows you to hear every nuanced sound the programmers intended, giving you the sensation of being in the game instead of just playing the game. Even in if you are not a gamer and music is more your thing the Razer Nommo Chroma - 2.0 Stereo PC Gaming Chroma Speakers are perfect for listening as well the bass adjustment knob found on the base of one the cylinder-shaped speakers allowing you to maximize your listening experience. As I mentioned above they are super easy to install; just plug in three cords. One for power one from speaker to speaker and last speaker to computer/gaming system. After that all that is left to do is turn them on and you are ready to have the ultimate listening experience, whether you get it from the sound of gunfire and shouting all around you in the deepest jungle, waves crashing on the beach or the nine-minute guitar solo of your favorite rock band. The only thing you must make sure that you have a high enough operating system and that your computers drivers are up to date, otherwise the speakers will not work. I will be recommending the Razer Nommo Chroma - 2.0 Stereo PC Gaming Speakers to all my friends and family. In fact, my brother-in -law loves the sound so much we are buying them for him for his birthday.
thay came with the quickness, came out of the box bigger and better than expected, would definately reccommend them to anyone looking for a set of speakers that are clean, organized and go well with rgb lighting on a gaming set up.
Let me start by saying I am 70 years old and work quite a bit on the computer. I like to listen to oldies. Now I can REALLY listen to oldies! I wish you could hear "For What It's Worth" on these speakers!!!!! Not only is the sound fabulous, easy to control but it is psychedelic besides! The bottom has a spinning color thing---very psychedelic - goes perfectly with my wonderful new sound!
These Razer Nommo Chroma speakers are great. They have fantastic sound quality, even at high volumes. Speaking of volume, these things can get incredibly loud. I could easily get the volume loud enough to annoy the neighbors. They would be great at a party, and we can even hear them upstairs. Set up was fine, but I did need a software update. I would have preferred something that's plug and play. The lights around the bottom are really cool, but I have not seen any option to turn them off. It is not a particularly bright light display, but something to be aware of. The other thing to consider is size. These are bigger than most speakers. The stand almost 9 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I have lots of desk space, so it was not an issue. The cords are plenty long enough to arrange them on your desk however you would want. Also note that the heads of the speaker are not adjustable. This does not matter too much, as they have a great surround sound quality, but it's a feature I would like to see added in any future versions. All in all, a great speaker. There are some improvements it could make, but sound is what's most important, and these sound great!
In comparison I've bought some cheap USB speakers in the last few months and these Razer spearkers blow the other ones away. These speakers have a deep rich sound with great bass and clarity. Definitely will suggest to anyone looking for great speakers.
These speakers are really sharp looking and sound great, although a bit larger than expected! Easy to set up and very happy with them. I had to use AUX 3.5M hook up since I'm out of USB ports but no problems with set up.
I was given the Razer Nommo Chroma 2.0 gaming speakers for my honest rating and review. These speakers stand 8.66 inches in height, 5.52 inches in width; 6.7 inches in length, and the weight for the speakers are 2.12lbs for (right speaker) and 1.98lbs for the (left speaker). They have a custom woven glass fiber and 3-inch drivers that give a complete audio clarity. It has gaming- focused positional accuracy so that you don't miss that shoot when gaming. These speakers are also made with a suction- equipped base for stability. Lastly, they have a rear- facing port with increased base out put and base knob with automatic gain control for the ultimate versatility. I was very excited to try this set of speakers and was not disappointed. They have a sleek modern look to them and have a lot of power for the size. I hooked them up to my apple notebook and listened to a few songs and the sounds output was amazing. I then tested them with a movie and I was please with the quality and clarity of each sound. I heard everything well and didn't have to replay anything. They sound better any computer speakers I have ever owned. They sounded just as good as my daughters surround sound hook up. I would be happy with just the speakers but the lights on the bottom make them so much cooler. I love how the color pattern can change depending on the base or volume. The lights are a added bonus. I am very impressed with the excellent quality of these speakers and for that I defiantly recommend these speakers and rate them a 5 out of 5.
These speakers sound great as far as desktop computer speakers go. They aren't quite the quality of a high end speaker such as Bose or Sonos, but they do sound very good. Clear highs and decent bass from a medium sized package. They are slightly larger than I expected them to be. They take up a decent amount of desk space. The extras include a USB connection as well as a 3.5 mm cable for various ways of connections. The USB is directly hooked to the main speaker and cannot be removed, while the 3.5 mm connector is removeable. It makes for a cable that cannot be disconnected if you choose to use the 3.5mm connector. The Led lights on the bottom is cool looking if you are into that sort of thing, it can either stay a solid green color or rotate a rainbow color. Volume knob and bass knob are located in a convenient place and easy to operate. Push down on the volume to turn on and off. They sound clear even at full volume and are attractive looking speakers. Very sleek. I'd recommend them.
I guess if you are a Gamer, these would be AWESOME speakers. The guy I work with looked twice with an amazed look of envy on his face when I unpacked them at work for the first time to try at work. Alas, I am not a gamer, but since they were given to me to try out & review I gave them a try. I do listen to music & watch and listen to videos on YouTube from time to time. But these really are over-kill for someone like me. They look great, especially the Rainbow Chroma colors - my cat was very interested is that swirl of colors - but for me they take up a lot of room on my computer table at home. There would be NO ROOM at all for these on my desk at work. And I normally wouldn't spend any where near what these go for on speakers. My current speakers on my desk at work were VERY inexpensive (from Walmart as well), and are really very good. But these do sound great. The main downside for me, when I plug in my iPod Shuffle, which I do quite often, the speakers only go so far for a pretty low volume. The higher volume has to come from the iPod itself. When you play your iPod at a higher volume, I notice the charge doesn't last as long. So that I wasn't thrilled about that. I was impressed by how well they are packed from the factory. A nice easy to carry box with handle, & an excellent packing system & materials. Easy to set up & download to your computer, (for updates & such) which I'm not so sure I HAD to do, since I'm not a gamer. I only rated 4 out of 5 stars because FOR ME, they are too pricey for what I would use them for.

The speakers have a stylish, cylindrical design. Though the speakers are plastic they still look sleek. You wouldn't know they were plastic just by looking at them. They have rubberized disks on the bottom of the speaker base to prevent movement. Using the Razer Synapse 3 free downloadable software on the Razer site, you can configure your lighting effects plus customize it to work with different games and apps. You can synchronize your custom lighting to all Chroma products. Using Synapse you can choose which equalizer mode you'd like to use, movies-gaming-music and default. These speakers are cool looking and have cool, customizable LED lighting, along with some other good features, but it's the sound quality that matters most to me more than the light show. So here's the ‘Not so good'….. I played music in the “Music” mode and the bass was disappointing, I guess it's because the equalizer adjusts so you won't hurt your ears, and you have no way to equalize the sound yourself. The “Default” mode sounded even weaker when trying it on movies, music, and games. The speakers are not wall mountable. The stand is not adjustable and the speakers are angled downward in a fixed position. This means if they are sitting on a desktop, they are not level with your ears. They are fixed to the base stem so to raise the speakers you have to set them on top of something or on a shelf. These speakers do not have a subwoofer and you can't hook one up to them. There is no visual indicator for the bass level so you don't really know what level you're on. You just have to judge for yourself using your ears. The connecting cable is semi-hardwired which means you can unplug it from the left speaker but not the right. Thankfully the cable is long enough to plug it into the left speaker and position them where you want on your desk. These are decent speakers for gaming and movies even with some of those inconvenient faults. I tried all the different sound modes and “Movies” and “Gaming” definitely had the best sound quality.
