This ice cream smelled sour when I first opened it. It wasn't past the expiration date, so I'm not sure what was wrong with it.

As soon as the driver left the groceries on my porch, I went out and brought it in the house because I had ice cream in one of the sacks. That was a few days ago. I decided to have ice cream after my dinner, so I got the box out of the freezer Got it open and I couldn't even get my scoop into the ice cream. It felt like rubber. It had crystals all over it and it was all sunken in like somebody had eaten part of it but I knew they didn't. I tried to scoop the ice cream out with one of my soup spoons and all it did was push the ice cream down like it was made out of rubber. Sadly, it was the great value brand.
The top of the carton was cut in 2 places and ice cream was oozing out. As a result, it is can't be eaten. I am requesting a refund.
Purchased on Memorial Day weekend. It's only been a week since I purchased and it doesn't expire until 09/2024 but it smelled spoiled and did a little taste test it was disgusting! I'm a ice cream lover and this was just horrible!!
