Priced right! Didn't have to leave home to shop! Units work extremely well.
I used an exact model for 10 years and then replaced with another same one and working great. You have to use the original type of bulbs and not the new fluorescent types for it to work properly. Glad Walmart still caries this so I can buy again if needed soon. Price is great too.
Bought this last year, seems to be holding up well so far, had the same one previously and it stopped working when it got very cold outside. However this one weathered last winter and is still going strong, I recommend upgrading the bulbs to LED as they are way brighter. The motion detection could be a bit better but other then that it works as it should.
This light worked well for 1 year, and then daylight sensor stopped working so it always thought it was daytime and never turned on unless I shined a flashlight at the light sensor to get it to wake up. It is supposed to have a 10 year warranty, but Heath Zenith doesn't respond to my emails asking how to redeem the warranty. I wish I could find another brand to try, but there don't seem to be any viable options.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! We bought one of these lights thinking it was a great deal. The light stays on and never shuts off, day or night, with or without any motion. We returned it and bought another, thinking that maybe we got a defective unit. The second unit had obviously been used and returned by someone else as it was missing some pieces and also did not work (exactly the same problem as the first). DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - IT IS ABSOLUTE JUNK; YOU WILL REGRET YOUR DECISION!
Works fine if you want to use it as a manual light without the motion detecter but the motion detector doesn't work very well and the duel bright mode doesn't work either, very disappointed
The motion detector works and that is the most important thing. BUT, the light covers wouldn't stay on by themselves so I used electrical tape to keep them on. The motion detector wouldn't hold its position no matter how you tighten it so I used "U-Glue" and electrical tape to hold it in place. So taped up it works ok, but it is a piece of junk overall. When it dies I will replace it with a Lithonia LED motion detector which I also own, and the difference is quality is remarkable.
Bargain price but dusk to dawn mode doesn't work. At night light turns on with motion, but does NOT turn off after the time out period. It just dims and stays on !! Non usable mode. In other words, you will have to use an external/wall switch to turn power to the light on at dusk and turn it off in the morning otherwise everytime someone walks in front of the sensor, it will turn on (in broad day light).
