These Hello Hobby chip brushes are very good brushes. They are super handy for craft projects that are on the larger size. When painting tag board or cardboard the paint goes on smooth and has great coverage with these brushes. The handles are sturdy and the whole brush is made with quality material that will last a long time. We even bring these brushes to the outdoor pool in the summer. The kids have a blast "painting" water pictures on the cement and watching them disappear.
These are good basic chip brushes. The bristles have stayed in place so far with light use and I haven't seen any fall out. They are soft bristles and work well with craft acrylics. I didn't test them out with any heavy body paint, so I can't say whether or not the bristles would fall out with those. I would expect with paints a little thicker than craft acrylics they should be fine. I like that they have the sizes (1-3") printed on them to help keep them organized when you have a specific need. These are handy for a lot more than just covering large areas with paint. They are great brushes for creating large lettering for signs for things like side of the road fundraisers, church events, and pep rallies, sports events, etc.
This is a good set of brushes. I love that there are three different sizes. I used them for several furniture projects. The largest brush worked well covering larger areas, and the smallest brush was perfect for getting in creases and corners. I was able to use these for my entire project without having to swap them out. No bristles came off, they held paint well, and weren't streaky. Would buy/use them again.
Very nice synthetic chip brushes by hello Hobby. The set comes with 3 different size brushes all made with synthetic bristles. The bristles are very soft and packed tightly. I used the smallest one for some glue application and it worked great. Cleaning it was also super easy and fast with no residue left behind, and best of all no bristle loss what's so ever. Well made very soft brush set, great buy.
These brushes work well for painting all different types of substrates. I used them on paper and canvas as well as a cardboard type of paper. They provide a good variety of sizes in the pack and you can pick which one works best for your project. They're well made and seem to last well.
The best ones out of all! They are soft! The coverage is REALLY good. Minimal staining on the brushes after cleaning. Good quality handle and bristles. Overall the best! I'm not an avid painter or anything. Just a crafty mama. And these are totally worth it to add to your collection if you like to paint for fun or paint with kiddos!
I use chip brushes all around the house and this set provides the THREE SIZES. I am pleased that it includes the sizes that I use most often. The pack includes a 3 inch, 2 inch and 1 inch brush. The bristles are SOFT with a FEATHERED end. All the bristles are white synthetic and perform as well if not better than I expect a chip brush to do. The bristles are SMOOTH and they give a nice application when applying water base paint. They hold the paint well. They also WORK WELL for applying paint washes and tea dying to fabric. As a crafter these are a great addition to my jar of brushes. In my opinion you can never have too many chip brushes. I also use these chip brushes for DUSTING AND CLEANING. The soft feathered ends get into the tinyiest crevices. They make QUICK WORK of removing pesky dust and debris.They are great for applying cleaning material to specific areas or hard to reach areas. The wooden handles are NICELY finished. They each have a hole on the end for hanging. There has been some bristle shedding but very minimal. Also the 1 inch brush arrived with a couple of bristles bent out and I have not been able to reshape those bristles. That is the only issue I have experienced. The other two brushes are fine. As far as chip brushes go and in comparison to the ones I have used in the past, these chip brushes are very nicely made and perform a variety of tasks well.
Loved these brushes! I used the large one to repaint a corner cabinet. To my surprise once it was washed up it laid flat! Most of my craft brushes have funky bristles after the first use. I'm pretty hard on things especially if I'm trying to give an aged look. Would recommend these brushes to any crafter!
Works great. The bristles didn't fall off. Only needed one size but for that price I'll find use for the other two. Easy to wash. Easy to use. Would recommend.
These brushes are really good for getting all the big spaces you need covered we used it for painting and outdoor birdfeeder that we are going to put up when summer comes because it is spring. We are perfectly ready to start painting some of our outdoor do it yourself projects and our birdfeeder was our first these brushes come in real handy with getting the bigger areas but they are not to use full with like the fine corners or any of the areas like that. They are good for the older kids hands not so much for the smaller hands as the bars are just too thick on the handles for them to hold comfortably so a definite older kid project friendly brush, but not younger kid project friendly brush
