I adore this set, and it has become a go to gift for me. The design on these brushes are too sweet, and they are incredibly soft. I don';t always use these as labeled- they have a variety of ways of being used. They are tiny, but that was what I wanted and I wasn';t surprised. Super soft, they blend well, travel well, and look cute on my makeup table.
I have actually come across this set in a type of outlet store and I found these so cute that I bought them. I already love them. I have some brushes with similar bristles and I think they usually make perfect face brushes. I will do a friends makeup for a photoshoot this week and I cannot wait to try these! I am really thinking about getting some eye brushes or something soon. Also, I love that these are cruelty free and that the handles are from recycled material. Gorgeous!
I bought these brushes because I thought the design was cutesy and wanted to add to my collection, but turns out they are actually very good brushes. I have not had any problems with working with any of them, keeping them clean, or quality. In fact, the quality stands up to my three little girls playing with them. I simply wash them afterwards, let them dry, and they are good to go again.
I love these babies! They don't shed, don't irritate my sensitive skin and are perfect for travel.
Personally, I love everything about this set. They have beutifully designed handles, the brush itself is very soft, they blend the products I use very well, and I have yet to see it begin to shed, and the size is great for the small space I have to store my makeup in. I would definitely recommend this product. I was nervous at first, because I ordered them online without any reviews beforehand (the look alone caught my eye), but I';m glad I spent the money. And the fact they are Eco friendly is a big plus! LOVE IT!
These "baby ';buki" brushes took some experimenting to find their best uses for me, and now I love them! The dense, kind of pointed one (what I call a bullet brush) is great for areas where I need a lot of concealer. The flat one is perfect for cream or stick blush. The angled one is perfect for powder blush. And the domed one works well for finishing powder, bronzer, or highlighter.
These are very trendy and very cute. I would prefer this brushes compared to MAC.
I absolutely love love love the flat kabuki, works perfectly with my mineral makeup. The angled brush works pretty good too, I re-bought the kit again just for the flat kabuki to buff on my foundation. Perfect, even coverage.
Until now, I have only used one kabuki brush at a time. I use them with mineral makeup so your experience might be different with other types of makeup or application techniques. I prefer to have heavy coverage with my foundation while still keeping it natural looking. I ordered these even though I prefer brushes with a longer handle because I liked the idea of having different brushes for different products and they got very good reviews. I have made these work for me by using the dome shaped brush to apply the foundation (which does give good coverage, but doesn't feel good and is not as easy to use for getting an even amount of coverage- I think this brush is designed for getting into small areas, not covering the whole face), the slanted brush for bronzer and blush, and the flat brush for mineral veil. They work, are very soft, and there is no fallout from the bristles so they are decent quality. The thing that disappointed me is that the non dome-shaped brushes are not as dense and therefore do not cover as well. If you like short brushes that give a very sheer coverage, you will likely love these brushes. But although they work for me for the time being and I will probably continue using one or two, I am still on the hunt for a brush I like better.
Brushes are very small, it's baby-buki size. Handle diameter 2cm, bristle - 3 cm (full kabuki size is - 3 cm diameter handle & 5 cm - bristle). Buff flat kabuki is too soft and too rare.it was to be the same thick and stiff as a brush concealer & must be taller(ideal - 3,5 cm) and bigger. They don't buff , don't polish. can not be used for purposes.rn Conceal brush too much thick. Many powder took inside brush.rn Contur brush too small. awkward to use. I do not use it.rnOnly bronzer brush iz good. It is ideal for its function.
