Quality Make-up Brush

The EcoTools Stippling Makeup Brush, 1293 seems to be a good quality brush so far. My girlfriend has tried it with her liquid foundation and said that it does a good job and by using circular motions she was able to avoid streaking. She said that the tapered edges are great and make it easier than her other stippling brush for reaching small areas around and under her eyes. Before using it with her liquid foundation, she also tried it with blush and powder and recommends it for that also. This is her first EcoTools makeup brush and she loves it and will continue using their brushes. While she has only used it for a short time, the brush has not shed any bristles so far during use or washing. In addition to the quality of the brush, the environmental friendly nature of the product is appealing as an environmentally conscious consumer. The natural bamboo handle is very attractive as well. It is also cool that the pouch is eco-friendly. Before I got to give her the brush to try, I found a use that I love that might make me commandeer the brush from her and its designed purpose. I actually used it to lightly dust the keyboard on my laptop and it is also great for that for a usage for guys. I do recommend this brush and the EcoTools brand.

PERFECT BRUSH!!

I've never had this type of brush before. However I had been watching VLOGS, and reading BLOGS where they raved about having great stippling brush for highlighting and shading. I have many brushes and had tried and tried to get highlighting to a point where it looked natural, and not just some shiney makeup on my upper cheek and t-zone areas. Everyone seemed to love the highlighters, but the key, as always, was the brush you use to do it. I found the brush! While I'm a beginner with this, the first and second times I used the stippling brush, I was blown away! I lightly applied mine to the aforementioned areas and blended well. The final result was awesome! Not only did I use the brush to blend, I also used it to stipple, like dotting I's where you placed the shading, or highlighter. Again, it can be worn day or nite, but you want to look natural, and at night it can especially look sultry. I love this perfect, soft brush. It has become one of my staples, and I'm so glad I chose it. I highly recommend it!

You know the world of today is a very different world then when I grew up. We never thought twice about throwing things away or what anything did to the environment. Today we do. Especially my daughters generation. Whenever I do something creative to reuse or recycle my ten year old daughter will come up to me, pat me on the head, and tell me how much of a good mom I am for going out of my way to help save our earth. :-) I think all the advertising, movies, cartoons, and educational information is helping. Makes me smile if not giggle every time she does that. Anyways, The last time we were at the store, yes walmart, I pointed out their wall of make up brushes, sponges, applicators, and whatnots. Big ones, small ones, funky ones, weird ones. She thought each one was a bit cool. I let her start wearing make up around the house around a year ago mostly eye shadow. Started with the whole eyeball to just recently watching you tube videos on how to lightly shade just a little bit. Oh my goodness to try and teach that a little goes a long ways is harder then I thought without offending. :-) She saw those make up brushes like most kids see paint brushes i am guessing. She has not gone outside the house with eyeshadow on being she is still so young but has gotten better about less is more. So I thought I would allow her to do things like blushes and what is it called? Powder foundation I think it is. Anyways, a young person doesn't need all that but she thought it was fun to work the big brushes in the powder lightly brush her face with it. Anyways, This ecotools stippling brush as it is labeled is very nice brush. Very professional I think. A lot of thought went into the design of it I cal tell. Extremely soft. Some are so hard but not this one. Made with a bamboo handle and the package says recycled materials. I think the storage bag might be the recycled materials part. Ecopouch. Stippling brush is made from soft CRUELTY FREE bristles! Has a recycled aluminum ferrule and sleek bamboo handle. The pouch is very nice holder since you do want it to last for years to come rather then just throwing into lets say a make up bag loose. It says to create a flawless natural complete coverage without heavy application. Which is exactly what I am trying to teach. Natural light and smooth. the duel bristles allow for a light blend without streaks. Less work, just lightly apply and go. While the distinct shape allows for precise application using less product. I appreciate that part. make up can be rather pricey so finding a product designed to help use less is a win win situation. Their pouch is made from natural materials and eva. Eva is free of phthalates and pvc. Everything from the brush to the packaging to the storage case is very well designed and thought out with the customer and the environment in mind. I would highly recomend this brush no matter your age, preteen or adult. :-)

Wonderful Stippling Brush

Before I saw this brush I wasn't quite sure what a stippling brush was. According to the package it is used for blending. I originally got a set of these EcoTools brushes for my daughter. She loved them so of course I had to try them for myself. This brush blended my foundation and blushes etch wonderfully. It creates a nice even look without any streaking. I like the way the brush looks but wish it came in other color selections. The brush bristles are nice and soft so they don't feel scratchy against my skin like some other brushes. I also really like the fact that the EcoTools brushes are made with some recycled materials so I feel like I am doing my part in the whole recycling thing. The handle is made of bamboo so it has a really nice feel to it. Smooth and not rough. The ecoTool brushes all come in this really nice pouch that you can keep them in for storage. I would recommend this brush for all the people out there that like a nice soft bristle and creating a nice even look. Looks nice and natural. Streak-free application.

I really loved this brush! Definitely worth having. I don't have a good track record with stippling brushes usually for various reasons ex. Streaking, requiring large amount of product for color payoff. But with this brush it was soft on my face and blended very nicely especially for me having dry not prep skin today. I also really love the shape of the bristles and how the top was formed more oval than round which makes it easy to get it in narrower areas on the face like the nose area and jaw line.

Great for Foundation

Reviewed in the USA on 2015-11-01T16:00:00

This is the first Ecotool product I have owned. I really love this brush for both liquid and powder foundations. The duo-fiber bristles blend foundation well and leaves no streaking behind. I have used and cleansed the brush several times and the bristles are still intact and holding their shape. It's also incredibly soft unlike some other stippling brushes that are pokey. The only thing that I have noticed is the way it absorbs the foundation. It took me two uses to know how much foundation I needed for each application. The first use I used the amount I generally do and the coverage wasn't enough. The second time I applied to much. After getting to know how much is needed the coverage is great. The brush is durable and I see it lasting a long time. The reusable pouch it comes in is also a great feature. I use it for identification purposes. Instead of throwing all of my brushes in a bag together I like to keep the package to put them in. This way I am not guessing which brush i use for each product. The pouch that comes with this brush in particular is pretty sturdy for long use. I am already a huge fan of this brush and I am anxious to try the others that Ecotools have available.

High End Product withouth $$$

I was pleasantly surprised by the Eco Tools Stippling Brush. I have been using a Sonia Kashuk stippling brush and was skeptical that the smaller brush would be as effective. I actually ended up giving my SK brush to my daughter after using the Eco Tools brush. The smaller brush allowed me to reach the corners of my eyes better without getting the foundation on my eye lids. I use only a primer on my eyelids and with the SK brush, had to wipe away the foundation before applying eye shadow. I was even more surprised by the softness and the durability. It is a common known fact that you are going to experience some shedding of bristles with make up brushes unless you purchase the high end products. I have had no shedding with any of the Eco Tool brushes I have received. So to have a high end quality product without the high end price is a BONUS. I highly recommend the Eco Tools line of brushes.

This Stippling Brush is great 4 blending make-up

This review is for the ECOTOOLS, Stippling brush. This brush like all other ECOTOOLS is made with recycled materials such as "cruelty free" bristles, recycled aluminium, and bamboo material. By use of recycled material ECOTOOLS is helping the Earth's environment. Recycling involves making new products from old products that are no longer of use to us. In return, this conserves energy, reduces the garbage in the landfills, and keeps our environment clean. When you use these products not only are you receiving a helpful tool in applying your make-up, you are helping in improving our planet, Earth. Since I have become familiar with ECOTOOLS, through Walmart Spark-reviewer, I have thought more about the environment and what I can contribute to help. I want our planet Earth, to still be viable for my Grandson as he becomes an adult. It's food for thought and It's a good feeling to help when possible. Now, the flip side to all this talk, is the brush itself. If you wear make-up, the need for excellent brushes is a given. ECOTOOLS brushes are soft, pliable, easy to handle, and very affordable. Each brush comes with it's own pouch ( made with natural materials ) and the brush can be washed in order to extend it's longevity. This stippling brush helps to blend out creamy make-up products. Products like concealers, foundations, and lipsticks. I found the best way to use this brush is to place a small amount of liquid make-up in the palm of my hand and then dab the end of the stippling brush into the powder. I apply small amounts to the areas on my face and then I start to blend with short strokes to create a smooth, even finish. Stippling is achieved by lightly patting the powder onto your face. Then you swirl the brush to blend everything together. The brush is a dual fiber brush. It is made up of shorter natural bristles and longer bristles which help to eliminate streaks, while the distinct shape allows you to put on less powder for a more natural look. All ECOTOOLS brushes come with an ECO pouch of their own. These are designed with pretty, earthy colors. With a previous brush I reviewed, ECOTOOLS, provided a fabulous roll up storage pouch. It has 12 spaces of various sizes for brush placements. The pouch is an attractive earthy brown color with a shiny copper trim that appears to have leaves on it. Inside is a coordinating neutral tan color lining. The spaces for the brushes have various adjectives like; flawless, glow, smooth, buff, and luminous. All of these words can be associated with beauty. In this case, your face and how it looks after you have applied your make-up with an ECOTOOL brush (s). The pouch rolls up and there is a Velcro strap to close the pouch. It is really neat. I recommend that you try a Stippling brush for yourself. I bet after trying this brush, you will probably go and buy some of the other brush products by ECOTOOLS. I did.
