I bought this especically to cover a large age spot under my eye. It covers it very well then I blend it out with the rest of the undereye area. My only issue is one shade darker may have been better for this time of year. It will be fine for the winter. I choose Moderately fair #14. It is quite light/bright.
I tried a sample of this concealer and it's great! It lives up to every benefit it describes. It completely covered my dark circles and the darkness around my jaw line. I didn't get oily and no creasing at all. I used the deep 28 and it's slightly lighter than my complexion and my powder foundation but it all blended well. I see that it has been given it bad reviews, but in comparison to another concealer. I urge everyone to please give this concealer another chance and Clinique please don't stop making this product.
I got this as a sample and didn't realize that it was a concealer so I used it all over my face as my foundation. It is a perfect match to my skin colour ( I have yet to find a foundation that matches my skin as I get lighter in the winter) This concealer lasts all day. I usually do 12 hour days and this lasted through it all. I love it. If only they made it in bigger bottles.
This is now my favorite concealer from clinique. I purchased this in 04 (VF) which is a neutral. (I do wish clinique would offer better shade descriptions on their website or at least indicate which are cool, neutral, golden toned. It sure would help rather than just listing the numbers as VF-04, etc). Anyways, this concealer blends easily, holds up well and did not emphasize my dry skin. I also use this under my eyes and it worked well to brighten the area.
The name of this product sounded really promising that it can deliver like its name. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of product to get good coverage and does not last as long as it claims. I'm disappointed cause I thought that this would have been Clinique's replacement to the advanced concealer but it's not. I have tried other Clinique concealers and none of them are as good as the advanced concealer as far as great coverage for a tiny amount. Please bring back the Matte Medium advanced concealer!
Like everyone else I am extremely disappointed in the replacement for the Advanced Concealer. I had finally found the best concealer ever and it was discontinued. Beyond Perfecting Concealer doesn't conceal anything and is too sheer. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE ADVANCED CONCEALER!!
This concealer does not even come close to the advanced concealer that was discontinued! Would be nice if you listened to the customers reviews that they loved the advance concealer and brought the product back! So disappointed with the coverage of this concealer. Wasted my money on it!
I have used advanced concealer for years and considered it the best concealer on the market. I was hopeful that Beyond Perfecting would be like advanced but with a greater choice of colors. I started using Beyond Perfecting yesterday and am horribly disappointed. It is thin and watery and does not provide the coverage I need. There is nothing Clinique offers that is comparable to advanced concealer and I am going to need to look else where for a replacement.
I, like most reviewers, do not understand why you would discontinue an amazing product like Advanced Concealer in Medium. I will not spent any additional money trying Clinique's other concealers so I moved on. I wanted to tell everyone who reads these reviews to try IT Concealers. They have many colors to choose from and the texture matches Advanced Concealer. Clinique, I trust you will not remove this review.
I have used Advanced concealer for decades. This new concealor is horrible. Too thin, does not cover well, does not last. I have no idea why they discontinued a fantastic product and replaced it with this. I am looking at alternatives from other companies.
