IV been waiting on this antenna ever since I ordered it I don't drive a big truck anymore but I use my cb radio to keep informed abt traffic going back and forth to work....Anyway this antenna is just exactly what I needed!!
Arrived promptly in good condition. Aerial (whip) was not included. It's an expensive magnetic paperweight without the aerial. Contacted seller, requested they send the aerial to complete the order.
I ordered this antenna with the understanding that it includes the 36" whip. However what I got was the magnetic base with attached coax and a 5" stub of a whip with a plastic cap on the end. So to make this work I had to order the actual 36" whip for $20.00 off of eBay! Never again from this seller and it will be a cold day before I use walmart.com for something that I really was needing.
Major disappointment ! Has no recieve as far as volume . Must be close to hear another radio.
