Our walmart order arrived the other day. I love that they deliver to my front door! It's getting cold and I don't have to leave my house to shop. A huge plus! When I took my son's coat out of the package we unzipped it so he could try it on. We found the inside lined with soft poly-fleece. He put it on and loved it. He said he wanted to wear it in the house since it was cozy :) This is not a huge puffer coat, but will still keep him very warm this winter for sledding, playing and skiing. It's lightweight enough that he doesn't feel like I did as a child... zipped into the huge winter bibs & coat up to my face walking around like the stay-puff marshmallow man. Instead, this coat is comfortable on him. The coverage is great, *my only complaint is the shaping of the coat in that the bottom fits tight around his hips when zipped, even though I got his true walmart size.* Last year walmart sold out of his size so quickly that I ended up having to buy him a more expensive coat, which he has now outgrown. I am so pleased that my son loves his new coat! I would definitely recommend this product to friends & family. If you are thinking of buying it for a child that you know, buy it. It is most definitely worth every penny! Thank you walmart for such an easy purchase!
I had needed a warm jacket for my 8 years old son for cold time of autumn. I'm very glad that found it . Affordable price, good quality and design. I got all what I wanted. I bought L size, jacket is a little big because my son is skinny but tall. This is not problem. I recommend this bubble jacket for cold autumn, but not for very cold,snowy and windy time of winter. In my opinion ,kids have to wear a down coat or heavy bubble coat in the winter. I can say this about NY because winter in another State of America can be different.
Excellent buy for money spent. Great customer service too. Didn't get it by Christmas, which was ok, but I got a $10 e gift card.
I bought this jacket for my nephew in a 4T who is 4, and it fit true to size! The jacket is durable and lightweight. He's always constantly running around, so it is hard to find him clothing he can play comfortably in. This was a perfect choice!
This jacket is for my almost 5 year old son. He liked the colors and that it wasn't too heavy of a jacket. I know it will last the whole winter, even if he is hard on it. I like the quality and construction of the jacket.
My son loves it! Nice fit, nice design, and light weight. Though its light weight, it still does the job. Its good for the rain and cold. Simply made with a lot of character. Faded Glory usually does good with its prices being affordable with out lacking in the style department. They also have a pretty good quality of clothing for the price. A parents brand to use.
Good coat. Got the skull/camouflage one kiddo loves it. Would keep you warm in California weather, probably not in Idaho winter.
This is a great coat for an amazing price when compared to other similar name brand coats. I purchased the scary orange and nautical blue color, they are vibrant and have a nice look. This is a bubble coat that is not to bulky with plenty of room to move freely. My boys say they like the color and how warm and cozy it feels. This coat is warm but would not recommend for below zero temperatures. The hood, pockets and from the waist up are lined with fleece. The arms are nylon lined with a fleece cuff. The hood was sewn to fit snug around the face which is great. It seems like it will do well in the wash but will set washer to delicate just to be safe. Over all, I am very pleased and will repurchase again next year. My boys are very rough on clothes and it is nice to know that every year I can purchase a new coat without breaking the bank like I was doing in the past.
Not recommended for very cold weather or minus degree weather will not keep you warm I think that was for my grandson and he said it was not there when it was windy and cold out waiting for the bus
I am disappointed with this coat. It wasn't as thick as I thought it would be. It was a bit short, should have been a bit longer. When my son bends over it rides up and his back is exposed. I live where it is very cold and snowy, so we need a warm coat. I ordered a size larger so he could have room to grow, but with it already being on the short side, I may end up having to order another before winter is over. The coat I bought two years ago for him from Walmart was awesome and he got two winters out of it. The price was good, but that is about all.
