This is a great umbrella for the beach and sporting events!
I bought this umbrella on the Sam's auction site and got an unbelievable deal! This umbrella is very well made and will be great for the beach, lake or pool.
I really like this umbrella because it is not too heavy for me to carry and it sets up easily and comes down just as easily.
The umbrella is very Large, Sturdy and colorful, would buy again.
This is a great, lightweight umbrella that works well on the beach.
We bought this for our son's sandbox for shade. It works great, but doesn't anchor well in dirt/grass. Would probably be fine in wet sand. I wish I would have bought it in store and not through the auction - paid more than I needed to!
We purchase quite a few of these umbrellas for our resort guests to use on the beach. They are pretty sturdy and hold up very well. As long as it's not windy on the beach, these are great.
Nice product. Would suggest adding an instruction sheet. It has a rod that goes through a hole about midway up pole. Not sure what that's for. Provides great lightweight coverage.
I used these in September in Hilton head Island. One of the two umbrellas had no base so my girlfriend set under my friend's lined umbrella. The next day she sat under this umbrella and ended up with tan lines because she did not use sunblock. I Always use sunblock but I found it very hot under this umbrella and also very bright from the sun shining through it. My friends lined umbrella was much cooler underneath and darker. This is a nice looking umbrella with A tilt feature and a nice screw tip to drive it in the sand and hold it, as well as a vent to relieve the wind pressure. As long as you don't expect it to protect you from UV rays or the heat of the sun you'll be happy. I would not recommend it to a friend because friends my age need to avoid UV rays.
