I really enjoyed this movie and it isn't any more violent or vulgar than any of those other R rated movies out there. I didn't think of it as being sci-fi, but rather showing how slaves were being treated. This movie had an unexpected twist. Loved it.

Faulty Blu Ray

Just bought it today and it just hangs on on Chapter 5/29 on both of my blu ray players. I even checked to make sure firmware updates were current. Returning it for another and hopefully it plays normal.

Django unchained is not a traditional western movie. It is simply another Quentin Tarantino Pulp Fiction type venue with the characters exhibiting violent, slang, and vulgar language throughout. My advise is to forget it.
