This is a heartwarming movie about a family who befriended a homeless boy and helped him find his talent as a football player. Sandra Bullock is superb as the mother. It was a joy to watch.

Sandra Bullock did such a good job acting as a sweet southern girl. I also liked that she spoke her mind about everything and is very protective of Michael and her kids. Plus, it's a true story. It was such a cute movie. Everyone must see this movie.

i have seen this movie on tv,about 3 times and i really enjoyed it,i brought this for a gift and know that the person i got it for is going to enjoy watching it as much as i did.it is a sad, funny at times, and serious .it is basted on a true life experitments which makes it all the better to watch and if you havent seen it you could.

The dvd wasn't locked into the holder, so it was sliding around in the case. When I opened it the dvd it was scratched. Now I can deal with a scratch here or there but this was ridiculous. A tip: Don't just make sure its the right dvd (got burned on that now I check). Please also check the condition of the dvd you order.
