Safety 1st appliance lock is a great product, very sturdy, looks nice, and a life-saver! I'm a grandparent and the grandchildren are always opening the frig. I've even had one crawl in and the other close the door! I'm using the appliance lock on the frig of course and it works great! Thanks safety 1st for making an amazing product!
I received this product complimentary for my review. All opinions are my own. The product worked really great! I was a little worried it would be difficult to install but was actually quite easy. It helped a lot in keeping an exploding toddler out of things. I do think some other products could potentially do a better job depending on the strength of your toddler. Overall, it worked well and I was pleased!

This is a simple design.Easy to apply and easy to use.This has a very strong adhesive that sticks to the surface and has a push lock.Helps keep my almost 3 year old out of my refrigerator.This is better than past similar locking devices I have used because this is easier to apply and use daily without the pieces breaking.
I used this product on the microwave. I couldn't figure out how to install it so i had my dad do it. This lock came in handy because my toddler likes to open the microwave. With the help of this Saftey 1st lock my toddler had no chance at opening the microwave. We really needed this and my toddler didn't even see it coming.
Great for locking appliances, toilet lids, cabinet doors, etc. Sticks well but peels off nicely when it's time to remove.
This has been helpful for me with my 15 month old, as she's at that stage where she can get into pretty much everything (and does!). We use it on the fridge, and it has prevented her from opening and pulling out all the glass jars that would break on the tile.
We have 3 appliances that open from the front: oven, refrigerator, and dryer. Our oven has its own built in lock, so we tried to put these on the fridge and dryer. It works great for the dryer, but it didn't stick to our fridge because the door curves a bit.
I have triplets that are 19.5 months old. They are always getting into the kitchen cabinets or pantry when I let them loose (which isn't often). Haha! I felt like this was pretty easy to install and even with 3 toddlers yanking at it stood up to the job pretty well! I do have to say it doesn't fit every situation/appliance, but every product doesn't so that's to be expected. I do worry that between the 3 of them and their strength they will figure it out rather quickly though. I received this safety first appliance strap at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
These are the crappiest baby proof locks I have ever purchased. The instructions say to prep spot with alcohol and let cure for 24 hours. We never made it to 12 hours for the ones on the refrigerator because the strap kept curling back up, forcing the sticky part to pop off the side of the fridge. There was only one that stayed 24 hours on the stove. However, this morning, while I was using the oven, the strap popped right off when my toddler tried to open the oven. This was a waste of money. I would NEVER buy anything from the creators of this useless product again and definitely would NOT recommend buying.
