I don't know what you did, but this Essentially Enriched formula is as close to perfect as a lotion can get. I almost passed on it because it went on kinda think and greasy feeling, but fell in love when it quickly dried to a silky, powdery feel. Just perfect. I need this on a body wash and travel size, please. Love, love, love!
I have used Nivea Cream for years. I usually include a tin in Christmas gifts and every time I do I create another Nivea fan. The scent is classic and stands alone without heavy perfumes. Thanks for being constant and not changing a good thing!
I absolutely love this new Nivea. Living in Chicago and trying to survive dry winter months, I need a moisturizer that penetrates but doesn't feel oily. This is exactly that and it pumps out easily and doesn't need me to dab my hands in a napkin to not feel oily. Only improvement suggestion is the pump can squirt it out pretty fast so you have to be careful to not get it on your counter.
I have been using this product for years and I love the scent, the moisturizing, the consistency, everything about it! I use it after every shower. Please, Nivea, don't ever change it, including the fragrance!
I have used Nivea Essentially Enriched with almond oil for 15 years. I just bought the bottle that says 2x almond oil. The formula is different: new smell and not moisturizing as well as the previous formula. I wish I could get the older version. This formula is just fine but I'll start comparing it to other brands to find my new favorite.
I've been using Nivea for decades. I learned of their products in 1970s. My aunt would buy what I would call an oily lotion. It came in a big clear bottle if I remember correctly. What I've always liked about Nivea body lotion was the wonderful smell and how well it moisturized. Today, it no longer has that wonderful smell. It is very subtle and not as pleasant as it used to be. It isn't horrible. It just isn't the same. The reason for me buying the product is gone. It doesn't moisturize as well as it used to either. I used think that Nivea was a little expensive but worth the price. Now it appears the price has gone down and so has the quality. Nivea isn't the only old company that has changed their well established quality product into something inferior to its original formula or quality.
I have used Nivea 48-hour lotion for a long time, but I must say that the new formulation is very disappointing. It is dry and pulls the skin as you put it on. It does not spread well. I will not buy more after I have used up this bottle and will have to look for something else.
I have used this product for many years. Recently I bought the new 48 hour lotion. I don't like the smell at all. Smells like motor oil or something like that. I am very disappointed. My husband is very sensitive to smells and this one bugged him. I was on a rv trip across country and couldn't just stop to buy something else. Luckily I had more products to use. Not sure what the problem was with this bottle. I was afraid to buy more as it probably would be the same. Sorry to say need something else to use. Thanks.
First of all it hurts me to give this review. I but NIVEA PRODUCTS all the time. About a month ago I purchased NIVEA 48. The smell was terrible, the lotion is brown and has a foul smell. I dont have the receipt anymore but I want to know has anyone else experiences this. The texture of the lotion is not the same of the other products I've purchased. I havent discarded it yet because I want to know if it's this brand.
I used this product for the first time on my upper body and developed a horrible allergic reaction on my face and neck. It has been 5 days since I first applied the lotion and I still have discoloration and discomfort. Would not recommend for sensitive face skin!
