My 3 year old daughter has been using the Power Wheels jeep for the past few weeks, and she loves it! You need to put together the jeep from quite a few pieces, but the assembly was pretty straightforward and the directions were very clear. All together, it probably took about 2 hours to put everything together and get the decals on. At 3, my daughter was able to understand how to drive pretty quickly, but I like that the higher speed starts out locked. She's been asking every day to take her jeep out! My 3 year old loves it! Perfect size with some room to grow.
Seems to be pretty well made and was pretty easy to put together. Take your time and you will have no problems.
Our 5 year old granddaughter loves it! My husband and I read the directions step by step and had no issues putting it together. We are looking forward to years of fun for her with this car!
My daughter was over the moon when the FedEx truck dropped this off. It was pretty easy to assemble too maybe an hour (only because I went super slow to let my 3yr old “help”) to put it together. And I was able to do it without another adult although it does recommend 2 adults to put together the rear wheels. Over all the toy is very well constructed and strong. It has a weight limit of 130lbs which was perfect because it allowed my 8yr old son to ride along with his little sister and help her master her driving skills. We've kept it in slow mode for now but once she's more confident I will put it to the faster speed. The battery dose take awhile to charge but that's typical for these types of battery's. Over all a very fun toy well worth the $$ and I would buy again :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
my family received this free in exchange for our honest opinions. my kids LOVED it! they all, boys and girls wanted turns in it, both driving and riding. the Power Wheels Jeep has so much to offer kids of a wide age range. my little boy used it to "haul wood" while his sister used it to transport her bears to the tea party. it was very well loved and received by all. the children had no complaints ;) it easily transitioned from grass to gravel to cement, it "hauled" two of my children at almost all times with no hesitation, and it was forgotten in the rain one night- and worked perfectly fine the next day!! :) -- the adult that did the assembling did have a few minor complaints but it was assembled quickly and easily. Had to redrill a couple of holes. Otherwise went together easily. My only concern are the rear DRIVERS. They are loose... just rattling around. Each had 2 screws to (I guess) tighten them into their housings, but are hard to twist and still are loose. NO MENTION ANYWHERE ABOUT TIGHTENING THESE REAR DRIVERS. I may have to call Power Wheels.
The Wheel is so flimsy it just got bent and got dents while riding in road . Battery is also loosing the charge in 200 meters . But the body of the car is made well . I would be happy if they replace the Wheel and the battery for the new car. If so I can rate 5 to the Jeep .
Jeep was given as a Christmas gift for a 4 year old child. Within only a few rides (without mistreating the jeep) the rear of the jeep where the left roller bar support attaches has cracked. At this moment I would not recommend this item due to the poor durability. I have submitted an email to Fisher Price in hopes of getting this issue resolved.
I ordered one keep, it came via FedEx. The body of the Jeep had a crack in it, I ordered a second Jeep, it came via FedEx. A piece of the body was broken off. I ordered a third Jeep and finally got one with no damage! It was very frustrating that I had to unpack and re-pack 2 jeeps before I finally got one with no damage. I feel I should receive some type of discount or coupon as I had to order 3 jeeps at $299 each before I received an undamaged one. It was very stressful because I ordered the first jeep two weeks before I needed it, but because I had to order 2 additional ones the final unbroken one was delivered 48 hours before I needed it, and it had to be assembled!
