Love them! Use to buy Nuri spicy; looked for better priced comp and found these. Happy to say they are really yummie, just the right amount of hotness.
I use a can of these as a delicious salad dressing to make a complete meal. The jalapenos add nice flavor and a nice kick to the extra virgin olive oil.
Best sardines Ive Ever had by far. I wish I had know about these years ago I would of fallen in love with sardines. Before I was just a casual connoisseur dipping into just a few now and then. I keep several on stock at all times now.
Yes you can get $1.oo sardines, but these are the real deal, and the jalapeños compliment them well.
If you like sardines, and a little spice, then you might enjoy these. I don't particularly care for really hot stuff, but these were very mild for me. They had just the right amount of heat, and tasted great. I love sardines, and these were quite tasty.
This was really yummy. I add sliced round onions and layer the onion and fish in a heat proof casserole bowl with cover. Then you add soy sauce to the remaining liquid in the can and pour it over the fish and onions, cover, zap in micro 1-2 minutes, eat over rice...great meal!
These are excellent sardines in every respect. I have tried about 30 different brands and varieties of sardines so far and this one is probably the best. All King Oscar brisling sardines are always top notch in flavor and texture, but the jalapeño in these really enhances things. There's a few slices of jalapeño in the top of each can, laying on top of a layer of fish that is so pretty you almost don't want to eat it. The jalapeño infuses the olive oil with what is, to me, the perfect level of spiciness. Just an excellent product all around.
This product is just splendid! A very nice spicy approach to what otherwise could be a bland collection of sardines. Just wonderful, especially with crackers!
Assuming you like sardines to begin with these are right up there with the best. Have had most of the various sauces. This was first time with Jalapeno peppers. Was cautious of a hot pepper burn. Excellent! The peppers perk it up but are not overwhelming. Will do these again often.
best of the sardines, advice to never order online in cold freezing temperatures since the contents will freeze and everything turns to mush if left outside at your door
