We discovered the pleasure of this full bodied, aromatic coffee over 20 years ago and have been greeted each morning with the smell and taste of our favorite coffee from our grind & brew pot. We were delighted to still be able to purchase the whole beans online when our local stores quit carrying them. We have gone thru several grind and brew coffee pots over the years, but hope to never have to give up our French Roast (whole bean).
I usually mix 3 parts French Roast with 2 parts Colombian Peaks for my preferred daily taste. but I occasionally like the French Roast Alone for a Nice, aromatic and Strong tasting "Cuppa". Thank You Eight O'clock for your Greatness in taste. and There You Have It!.
Eight O'Clock coffee French Roast has been a favorite of mine for some time and people who visit all enjoy it as well. They frequently ask what kind it is and always for GOOD reasons! What do you want when you order from a company online? That they send the correct product you ordered - always. That the product arrives in a timely manner (before you run out) - again, every time! The one thing they couldn't control was when a shipper drop kicked the box and broke a bag wide open. They sent a replacement bag the next day! Not their fault, things come packed well, but they did the right thing and they have a loyal customer.
I have been buying Eight O'clock "French Roast" whole beans for years and I use it in my espresso machine. The flavor is great and the taste of the crema produced by the fresh ground coffee is out of this world. I don't believe you can find a more mellow cup of coffee even if you bought the most expensive coffee beans.
My mother used to purchase this coffee from the A&P stores. A&P had a grinder in the coffee section. She would buy a pound of beans and grind them in the section. I never forgot the wonderful aroma of the coffee. As an adult on my own I continued the family tradition. My husband too became a fan. We tried many flavors (all interesting and delicious) however French Roast with its rich and dark flavor is our favorite. We have our own Grind and Brew coffee maker and use it on a daily basis. We are true coffee lovers and drink our coffee black.
I feel that Eight O'Clock French Roast coffee is the best on the market. It has the great deep roast taste and is never bitter. I've tried other brands of specialty coffees but they have always fallen short of the mark compared the 8OC. In fact, some of them were stale when purchased. 8OC is always fresh and it is priced right. For my dollar, 8OC is the best deal in the market.
I have loved this French Roast whole bean coffee for years and am thankful for this website to purchase it trhough as all the local stores have stopped stocking it. The flavor is wonderful and not acidic. All our guest rave about this coffee and most ask if it some exotic brand. I highly recommend it to all as the greater the demand the less chance it will stop being offered. #sweepstakes
I have a beautiful European Espresso machine. The Eight O'Clock French Roast is Exquisite!
I added a stainless steel, camping style percolator to my kitchen recently. I love Eight O'Clock Original and Espresso, but neither seemed to give me the flavor I wanted from this pot. So, I grabbed a bag of French Roast and VOILA! This bean gives me the depth of flavor I have been looking for with a smooth aroma and finish. Will definitely be budgeting to keep this on hand. I Love this coffee. u grind mine every day so to me there is no other way to go. The price is just right too for 2lbs.
