so i got this ad it was on there, and everything was fine. i got it for a trip to use for food, rides, and whatnot. i went to place an order and was told the balance was 0 when i never used it. so i checked aain, and all of it was gone. my boyfriend had the same issue a few days before it happened to me. this needs to be fixed now.
I used the $200.00 gift card to pay my electric bill of $119.25 wich left a balance of $80.75 then went to store to buy a few things for $14.00 and card was declined because someone stole $80.00 to buy something from Amazon,I will not recommend that $200.00 vanilla gift card to anyone
Ordered gift cards for gifts and they were not activated. 12/5/23 Walmart passed the problem on to me having to contact Vanilla gift card services who placed it under review til 1/12/24! I was out $350 and no gift to give unless I paid more to have smthg on Xmas! If you sell a product in your store, you should be responsible when it isn't satisfactory or there is an issue that is in no way the customer's fault. That goes for Walmart and Vanilla gift card service! Just not right to handle it the way it's been handled! 100% poor customer service!
My gift to an out-of-state was canceled three times. How do people send gift cards to people in a different state? I have spent a long time going in around in loops and resets--to no avail. Walmart web developers might spend less time creating cutesy prompts and more time creating a functional customer experience. I have had this account longer than my other shopping accounts but this is not the first time I have not been able to finish a purchase. It is time to try other resources. Sincerely, Disappointed
Got the card and it wasn't activated. Called Walmart to get it cleared up and they told me to call Vanilla to activate it. They said it could take 3-5 or 30 days to correct this. That was a gift that I now can't give and they have to go without. So frustrated.
I received my order for two Vanilla Visas Quickly and the order was correct, aside from the balances!! BOTH both of the two cards ordered were empty and had never been loaded! I fought with activating them and called Customer Service only to be told I needed to send in copies of the receipt, photos of both cards and both sides, photo of my ID, and was then informed that it could take a month or better to get this matter resolved! Customer Service was a nightmare, rude, belittling and hateful. So I asked him multiple times for his supervisor before he finally and reluctantly agreed and placed me on hold. I then waited another twenty minutes or better for the supervisor to answer. Now my situation is under review, I have to jump thru all these hoops just to have access to the $300 that should have been on the two cards I had ordered in the first place! Not to mention, I have to replace those funds before Christmas now, as Its more than li,ely not gonna be corrected prior to then. Money I dont exactly have in the budget, especially to spend twice.... and with Christmas a week away at that! Truely a nightmare! Thought Prepaid Cards, like Vanilla Visa Cards were suppose to simplify life, not add to worry and stress.... My mistake, I guess I got that backwards!
My card was hacked and all of the funds except $0.02 was used. I immediately contacted card support and was told i had to send in a dispute form and it takes them up to 90 days to investigate.
I got it opened it and it wouldn’t work. I got on the website and Everytime I looked to see what the balance was it would say system error. I called to check balance and it said the card couldn’t be found. I’ve called them to speak with customer service and no one answers. I’ve heard about things like this but never had this issue actually happen to me.
Vanilla Gift Card for $200'purchased online( for convenience ) with other items . The vanilla visa gift card was for a gift so when I received it I immediately checked the balance . The balance in the card was zero ! I immediately began the process of filing a claim , which was not or has yet to be a “ convenient “ process ! As of today 1/30/24 my case shows resolution by 1/11/24 🤔.. To stay on a continuous hold for all our customer service representatives are busy but your call is very important to us to CLICK ! Yes, fifteenth minutes hold time I was disconnected! So If you're actually reading this I'd appreciate any help on getting my refund back … Absolutely NO I do not recommend purchasing a Vanilla Visa Gift Card online !!!!

Look at the dates %26 time as well
