The 5-in-1 Air Purifier is perfect for allergy sufferers. The HEPA Filter captures 99.97% of allergens including pet dander, dust mites and pollen. I thought it would be annoying and noisy but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not and it is a very good buy now that the fires are so close to my apartment it was a very good choice
It is very quiet. I also love the UV light feature to kill germs.
I looked into several different Air Purifiers on the market. It needed to be affordable, easy to use, get rid of pet dander, & dust. It is working very well. My daughter gets severe headaches, & it has helped her alot. My husband snores(& that has stopped) even though I didn't know it would help with that. My severe allergies are much better. I can actually breathe at night & sleep much better now. I am going to order at least one more, if not two.
I got this air filter for my 9 month old son's allergies. He was having major sinus problems because of pollen and some pet dander. We noticed within 2 hours a difference. He was napping well and finally able to breathe easy! The UV light isn't so bad. If you have a problem with it at night... just turn off the UV light. The air filter can work separately from the UV light. And vice versa. The highest fan setting is a bit noisy. We keep it on the setting just under high, and it's quiet with good air flow. I would recommend this to a friend, definitely.
Our family absolutely loves these. We bought 2 for our 1000 square ft apartment, one in each bedroom. Our family suffers from allergies and sinus issues and I would say these units have helped greatly. They do not eliminate all our problems but definitely help. I'm writing this review because the units just started beeping to let us know to change the filters, been about 6 months. So my wife turned them off for the first time since we bought them, yes they run non-stop, and the apartment now smells stuffy and stale. She can't stand it and her and my boys are now waking up stuffy in the mornings. I would definately recommend these. Our place would be just right with one more unit, but 2 have been working pretty good anyway. Going to find one for the car since we drive a lot also. Quick tip: if you vacuum the filters regularly they will last longer, I got lazy and only did it once. I'm going to vacuum them today and hope they last until my new ones get in.
This air cleaner is the minimum level to purchase! That means do not waste money on cheaper air filtration units, you will only have to step up to this level. I plan to get another unit for the kitchen / dinning area, as we will leave this one in our bedroom. So far I can tell you two things, if you have asthma you will notice the difference and if you are always dusting things, you will see the difference .
I purchased the Germ Guardian AC5250PT 28” 3-in-1 True HEPA Filter Air Purifier for my home because I noticed mold in my apartment and dust bunnies everywhere when I clean. I could only imagine what I was breathing into my lungs. I was a bit hesitant with this particular product and I'll tell you why. While reading the reviews to decide which air purifier I was going to buy I was a bit leary of the quality of this product. I don't know if they improved this product over time or perhaps the other reviewers were just a bit critical. It's a fan that gives off a white noise type of sound which is quite low actually. In comparison to my ceiling fan it's not as"loud" as some have reported. and my ceiling fan is quiet. When I have my television on I don't even hear the air purifier. I have had this unit turned on since it arrived about a week ago and there's not one thing that I can complain about concerning this air purifier. I love exotic foods and this fan takes care of odors nicely...even the odors associated with my three Yorkies. The directions are easy to follow and I even went through the process of seeing how difficult it would be to take the unit apart to clean and change filters...and I'm a fifty nine year old disabled Marine Corps veteran with arthritis. When I turn the lights out to sleep it does give a slight blue glow from the blue UV light with a red light for the power. If the red light bothers you, just put a small piece of electrical tape over the dot and you're all set. All in all...I simply love this Germ Guardian AC5250PT 28” 3-in-1 True HEPA Filter Air Purifier for Home and Pets.... I sleep easier at night and even use my inhaler less often. Great product.
I love this product. A little noisy on the highest speed. Overall great product.
I like this air purifier. Simple to use and the filter is said to last 6 months. I have not had to replace the filter as of yet so I do not know the cost of this. The value of this product was worth it. One of the reasons I went with this is that Costco carried it, but for more. I know that some have had issues with the kill switch which is pushed in by the filter and back of the product. I have not had this issue.
Dust kept coming out on the side and making noise. Purchased it twice and it was not worth the money. I will be returning it :(
