Easy Read Ruler is designed to eliminate the confusion and strain of reading your typical ruler. Vivid white markings with a vibrant background allow easy viewing. Dual-color design differentiates the metric and Imperial sides. On the Imperial side, each line is even marked in 1/4", 1/8" and 1/16" against a colorful background so there is no guessing or counting lines. On the metric side, the millimeter hash marks rise and fall, making it easy to identify the measurements against the black background. Millimeters are even numbered by fives, including 5, 15, 25 and so on. Nonglare surface on the 12" plastic ruler makes reading quick and easy. I really love this ruler even though it is plastic. It seems to be durable enough but I wouldn't try to break it. I wanted it for cutting papers to the 1/16th with my grand childrens help. Also using it for bookfolding with cm and it is so so so helpful for that. It makes marking my pages so much easier. I love that. It truly is a great ruler with all the markings very visually there to see and they say they don't rub off. I read a review from somewhere that the guy said he has been using the ruler every day and none of the markings on the ruler have faded or been rubbed off, so we shall see. The only thing I would like to see is Walmart carring the pink one as it is so girly girly...hopefully they will and at the same price as the blue one and NOT at the much higher as I seen it be. I am happy with my purchase otherwise and time will tell on the markings.
