We live in a very remote area of Tennessee. Our closest Walmart is 20 miles away. There are several stores within 30 miles and THIS item is not found in any of those stores. We usually have to stock up when we go to St. Louis. I did find them on-line at www.walmart.com, and purchased them as they fit the Littermaid cat litter box better than the plastic receptacle, plus they are biodegradable. The price listed was higher than a greater quantity of the plastic items, but the bio product is far superior in terms of containment and better fit for the product it was designed for. Additionally, we found, upon receipt, that the on-line price was discounted when they shipped the order, making this a far superior purchase than the plastic counterpart. PLEASE WALMART. put these on the shelf at ALL stores.

No bending and fits better than the plastic receptacles. But price is higher.
material is pressed cardboard. Crumbles. Have to apply scotch tape to hold it.
Like the rest of the group, I was disappointed that the lids did not fit but I used some tape and it was good to go. I used all of my disposable units and went back to plastic because they were the only ones in the store. There is a remarkable difference in the smell! The plastic seems to promote moisture and mold while the other units do not.
The lid doesn't fit right in the holes (too small) so it has to be taped on. That way, it opens when the rake goes through.
I was willing to pay the ridiculously higher price for this product, which is $3-$4 more expensive than the regular plastic receptables, because they're supposedly environmentally-friendlier than plastic. I had to return the whole box unused because the lids DO NOT FIT. What is the point of this product if you cannot use it??? If the manufacturer is going to sell this product, then it should live up to its claims that it fits all the Littermade machines. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this product, unless and until the company decides to redesign so it actually fits!
