I bought this for my 15-month old son for Christmas with the additional keyboard. He loves Elmo from watching Sesame Street but I must say I didn't think that he would love this toy so much! He takes him just about everywhere. The toy is awesome because it shows him cause and effect and also interaction through the play along keyboard and the fact that Elmo seems to be talking to him! He can't seem to get enough. It's a great value with the Wal-Mart special and although he's been playing with it non-stop, the batteries are still running strong. The only con I can think of is that he play along keyboard only seems to have one song that Elmo sings along with, but that really is all!
Bought this for my 9 year old nephew for Christmas. The packaging says 2 years, but after reading the reviews, must say their child got board quickly. I took that as a good guess it would be perfect for a 1 year old. AND IT WAS! He is young enough that he thinks Elmo is real. It is so cute. He dances with Elmo. I bough the guitar and mike. The guitar kept his attention. I say it is a great toy for this age because they are able to grow into it. 9mo to a year is a difficult age because it is hard to keep their attention. Contrary to what others have posted, I, not did his mother, think the toy was too loud. Little kids LOVE loud flashy things that can grab their attention.
Rock and roll Elmo is just as cute and unpredictable as the other models. He makes you laugh and I am so glad I didn't have to "camp out" to get this one. I love the fact that he sings so many different songs.
My 16 month old daughter got this for Christmas and she loves it. We wake up to elmo and we go to sleep to elmo. We have already had to change his batteries. We also got the cookie monster piano to go with it. I like that they link together and sing together but I wish it was for more than one song. If your kid likes elmo they will love this.
I bought this for my one year old grandson for Christmas, and I think it was his favorite gift. He plays with Elmo every day and dances to the music. This is definitely worth the price.

So I bought the Let's Rock Elmo today at the Thanksgiving day sale. The baby Loved it! She will be two in 13 days. This toy is so entertaining. I would of expected it to cost way more than I paid. He recognizes his instruments when placed in his hands. Not sure how exactly. If the baby Loves Let's Rock Elmo, I love Let's Rock Elmo. Thank you Lompoc Ca. Walmart for having this great product on sale.
I purchased this toy for my three year old grandson. I thought it was the cutiest toy and he loves it. I could only get it online because it was not in the stores. I would recommend for kids
Elmo Let's Rock is a great toy for my 1-year-old. She loves hearing him sing and laugh. Although she can't interact with him on her own when he asks for his microphone or drums, she is quickly understanding that he needs certain instruments to perform. She starts dancing when he sings and loves touching his mouth when he talks. I can definitely see her growing with this toy as she is quickly identifying Elmo whenever we are out in stores and she sees him. The toy is very easy to setup, just needs 6 batteries.
I bought this for my grandson and he likes it; I just get a little frustrated with the compatible items. Aside from that; he is 2 years old and plays with it everyday!
