This was a Dora Singing Star Guitar for my granddaughter as a Christmas gift. It is noisy, but it is what my daughter suggested that I get. I don't mind...it will be at her house. The delivery of this item was super fast and the service in the pickup area was, too. I was pleased.
As a teacher for over 40 years, I think that most children, even the shy ones, secretly want to be rock stars, if only in their own rooms. If you are young, and especially if you like Dora, this is a perfect "starter" guitar. It's fun and colorful and does all the work for you. Just sing, strum and dance along ! "Batteries included" is a nice feature.
i bpught this for my 1 year old for christmas. by far this has been her favorite gift, even my 3 year old son's. it has such a variety of tunes and different sayings. they run arpund the house ricking out and dancing. LOVE IT!
For the price, this is a good gift for little girls hwo like Dora. The guitar plays various songs based on what part of it you activate. There isn't any skill involved, so probably best for younger ages, maybe 2-3. Any older than that, I would think the child might lose interest quickly.

Bought as a birthday gift. Liked when it was opened. Assuming it will be played with. Product was just as pictured.
This was the perfect gift for my daughter since she is into music and likes playing air guitar like daddy. Love that it's a Dora theme and it has catchy tunes and a whammy bar that just makes it out right cool! Only negative thing is the volume is a bit too loudand can't be adjusted. Oh well...I'll just need to buy some ear plugs for mom.

I got this for my 3 year old niece. She loves it, and I love that my brother and sister-in-law get to listen to it non-stop. The only thing I didn't like about it is that Dora talks when you hit certain buttons and it takes away from the music aspect - but she is only 3 so I don't think it matters. She loves it!
My 2.5 year old DD got this for Christmas. She liked it at first, but the buttons are repetative & quite annoying. It doesn't play anything like a real guitar. She likes that it's Dora, but it mostly stays in the bottom of the toy box. Would probably be better for a 1 year old
