I love this sauce. It has a good texture and flavor. It's been one of my favorites for a long time I was so happy to see it here!! It's just right not too hot not too sweet.
Best flavor of all the Thai sweet chili sauces I've tried. Some are to mild (TJ), some too garlicky.
Add to sautéed Brussel sprouts for a thick rich toasted shell to bite into, creating a sweet spicy tangy suprise!
***used mae ploy sweet chili sauce many years. tried this a few months ago and absolutely much better. tiny bit sweeter, not as much after burn, so just right. and it is about .50 less so even better!! sorry mae ploy.
No corn flour/starch, so its good for those of us with corn allergy. Perfect balance of heat and sweet. I use it for indian snacks and for asian style noodles/stir fry I make. So good!
I had heard that the bottle was kind of difficult to open. But I did not expect the bottom to completely fall apart! I was holding onto the bottle and trying to pull the tab off when I realized that the bottle is disintegrating. It was by the grace of God that my fingers did not get sliced off! It was a terrible experience and I do not wish anyone to get injured. Do not buy!
I purchased this product in Walmart at Champaign, IL location on Dec 24, 2020. I found a fly trapped inside a sealed sauce bottle. Very unhygienic!!!!!!!!

I have paid $15.66 $10.71 for shipping and handling for this item and to this day I have not received this item. the price of the item $6.41 cents over $33.00 for this iem and it has not made it to my house yet. though I was given certain dates. most expensive item that I have not received YET. And Walmart tells me no extra prices for shipping and handling.
