We have used the 46” unit in a couple homes so far. We will definitely make this our new standard. Just a simple clean look that functions perfectly. also, the cabinet doors are held shut with magnetic catches so you can access the outlet.
Did a lot of research before settling on this Hood Insert. Needed the remote blower (oh it is so quiet) with the LED lights and baffle technology filters and this one fit every requirement. Have had it functional for 6 months and couldn't be more pleased.
Bought to replace a very expensive designer hood which had poked numerous holes in my forehead with its sharp corners. The Zlime came with good, ie. simple illustrated, instructions. Even installing the remote motor was not much of a problem. It is very quiet on its highest speed and removes odors much better than the expensive designer hood.
Bought this because I have a long vent run to outside. It is perfect for that. I like the adjustable spotlights for our mural over stove. Only one thing is a problem. My wife can't reach the light switch since it is in rear. She will have to use a pencil to turn light on and off.
This thing is great. Low noise but powerful ventilation. This was part of a full kitchen remodel and took the commercial look to a higher level at a great value.
I was having a hard time finding a high quality range hood insert, with high cfm, that I could build a custom wood shell over. I couldn't be happier that I chose a Zline product.
I bought mind in 2018 and The Range Hood Store was great to work with! Had one small issue but they took care of it right away. In 2019, my lights went out and ZLINE sent me a new light kit right away. This hood will suck the air out of a blimp! Grease filters are easy to remove and clean. Very satisfied.
Found this online and thought the price and features fit our needs. Postives: Auto turn off, lights that swivel vs. a fixed location where your food might not be cooking, quiet on 1 and 2 speeds but begins to get loud at 3. Negatives: Loud at 3 or more setting. Installed in wood fabricated hood. I'd likely buy again as the pros outweigh cons.
This hood works excellent! The fan is quiet but powerful and it's easy to find a setting that is comfortable. The lights are great too. Installation was smoother than anticipated. Minus one star because there was not an option to install the outer wood wrap without putting screws directly through the side of the wood. The cabinet maker had several suggestions to hide the screws but none of them fit with the rest of the kitchen.
This hood is definitely powerful and will help with controlling that “food smell” after cooking, but it is much louder than the description led me to believe. Even on the lowest setting, we have to raise our voices to be heard over the noise. Pretty disappointing.
