I received this Better Homes & Gardens 18oz Patchouli & Frost Scented 2-Wick Shiny Bell Jar Candle last week and was happy with how attractive the candle jar was, as it looks very classy. I have a long hall table in my hallway that visitors see as soon as they enter my home in my foyer. I lit this candle and put it on the hall table, and it looks so beautiful there. Within a short time, I could smell the fragrance coming from the candle and it smells really good. It filled my whole house with its good smell and my house seems so cozy with it burning. It has a designer shape to it and it has 2 wicks that I noticed that they burn evenly which I really appreciate as some candles I buy do not burn evenly and look a mess when they are halfway burned. However, this candle was keeping its shape throughout the whole burn, and I will be buying more of this style candle from Better Homes and Gardens as it looks like a very well-made candle with a designer shape that will look good anywhere, I put it in the house. I want to buy one for my coffee table, my dining room table, and my long vanity top in my powder room. They are as good if not better than candles I have bought from a candle store at a higher price.
I have the Better Homes and Gardens Candy Cane Cream candle. It has 2 wicks and is 18 ounces. I love the shape of the jar. The scents combined are candy cane, buttercream, vanilla bean and peppermint. I set it to burn and went outside so it would fill the house with the scent. I was very pleased to come back in and smell the candy cane candle. I was expecting a little more peppermint smell but my husband said it smells just like candy canes. The scent lasted a few hours. The lid does not screw on tightly, so be careful lifting it from the top. I sat it on a glass pedestal plate made for candles just for safety's sake. This candle will last me a long time.
This candle is so pretty! It has a modern look to it with gold accents on the label and lid. The dark blue color is beautiful! I can't wait until it burns down enough to where you can see the blue color lit up from the flames. It is a two wick candle and my first opinion was that it really only needed one. I was worried that the two flames would be too close to the glass because the opening is not that large. It hasn't been a problem so far. I definitely think you will need to light the candle with a long candle lighter and not a regular lighter once it burns for a little while The opening is not really large enough for big hands. The candle itself smells amazing. The citrus smells nice and clean and the throw is amazing. I have tall ceilings and this one candle burning was enough for the entire house to smell nice. It burned evenly and burned slowly. For as many hours as I had it going, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it hadn't used that much wax. I think it will last a long time. I've been buying some "high end" candles and they just don't last like they used to. I will definitely be making the switch to the Better Homes and Garden brand. I'm impressed!!
This is a nice candle. Designed to fit in with any decor. Burns evenly. Comes in a variety of scents, this one happens to be my favorite. Smells divine and not too overpowering. Metal screw on lid. It's a bit heavy, has some substance to it. Would make a great gift for any occasion, male or female. Highly recommend!
For the price this candle looks beautiful and smells even better. I have a huge liking for candles and have them as both decoration and for use. And this smell probably is in my top 5 favorite candles. It's price is great considering that it burns forever and I have days where I can burn it for 12 hours and it hardly looks used. The jar is also looks very high end and classy and looks wonderful in my home. I will definitely be buying some of these for everyone for gifts for Christmas, that's how much I love it. I definitely recommend and know you will not be disappointed if you try this candle
I got the cashmere teak scent. It smells masculine. Like a men's cologne. But it doesn't smell like your grandpa‘s cologne. It's more of a lightweight masculine scent. It smells very good! I lit it in my kitchen to see how far the smell would go. My kitchen is an open floor plan, with a bookkeeping area and a dining room, plus an open door to the laundry room. I can smell it in all areas, including the laundry room. This is the size 18 ounce. I can't wait to get more of these. I highly recommend this candle
The Cashmere Teak scented candle by Better Homes & Gardens has a very sleek & glossy look to the jar. It is a dark see through brown glass that gives a 1920's vibe to me. I love the smell of this candle; it has a rather masculine scent with hints of leather, rose and freshness to it. This beautiful round jar candle knows how to smell up a room! It's charming and makes a great accent piece to an office, fireplace, sitting room desk or if you love the scent like me, you'll put it anywhere for its rich scent.
This lovely candle has a very pleasant and soothing “pine tree” fragrance. Not an overpowering scent, but a nice subtle, refreshing aroma. Especially reminds me so much of Christmas and all those sweet memories, that I can't wait to fill my house with this amazing pine scent during our Christmas season. One side note that I was not expecting: my husband who is a deer hunter in the fall, came through the house and commented, “Man, I love that smell, it reminds me of being in the woods!”
This is a Better Homes and Gardens 2 wick, highly fragranced, wax blend. It is 18 ozs. The sent is Salted coconut and mahogany. With notes of citrus herbal, wood, coconut and vanilla this candle creates a warm, cozy atmosphere. This is the perfect scent for snuggling up with a good book or watching a gentle rainfall, even a relaxing bath after a long day. I absolutely love this scent and highly recommend it. I light it every evening, turn my lights out and turn on my favorite television show. It's my absolute favorite way to wind down after a long day and this mellow, relaxing scent fills my living room with the most soft, peaceful, warm, relaxing fragrance. Always remember, if you plan to burn candles, to keep them out of the reach of small children, away from things that could catch fire and burn them in a location within sight. This candles label recommends to stop use of this candle when 1/2" of unmelted wax remains so that the glass does not get too hot and shatter. You should put the candle out after every 4 hours to allow it to cool. The label says not to allow the flame to touch the glass. The pool of wax should be kept free from of debris. Do not move the candle while it is lit. Trim the wick to reduce sooting and do not place the lit candle in a drafty area. I love the classy look and smell of this candle and highly recommend it.
This is a huge candle. It's 18 ozs. The fragrance is called candy cane cream. The candle has candy cane, buttercream, vanilla bean and peppermint scents. The only thing about it is that I can't really distinguished the scents. With all the different scents, I thought it would have smelled better than it does, but it doesn't. And I love scented candles, but I'm kind of disappointed that I can't really smell any of the scents. But I love how the candle looks.
