I use this brand of flour to make my cakes every time. It works just as good as the name brand at a lot less money. I highly recommend it. I'm adding a picture of my made from scratch butter pecan cake as reference
The flour arrived open and busted in the delivery box and I can't return it because it gets all over my clothes when trying to carry the box so I'm just going to throw it away
Ordered these. Arrived as stated, but they were not usable due to lack of packaging to prevent them from shifting during shipment. Several bags exploded coating everything else is flour.
I'm sure the flour is great but because of the terrible packaging, the flour exploded in the box and got into every item. It also deposited a blanket of white in my kitchen
While I have used this flour to make homemade brownies and had no problems, it does not make homemade pie crusts at all. I always make pie for thanksgiving and for 2 years I have had failures with my pie crusts. One just completely had the edge fall off the pie pan. And all the rest just tear and stick to the rolling pin and the surface I am rolling out on. There is no elasticity or the feel of gluten in the dough. It is ridiculous! So after the same thing happening this year, I purchased a name brand flour and after mixing the dough the same way I always do, I started to roll it out and could feel the difference. The dry flour even felt different. Great Value was so much more powdery, talcum powder consistency. I don't know what their manufacturer has done to the flour, but I will never purchase it again. After making homemade pies for over 40 years and to have such failures when using this flour, there is something definitely wrong with it.
TJIS IS HOW I FOUND MY BAG IF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR THERE IS. NO WAY THAT THEY DIDNT SEE THE BIG HOKE OR THEY DIDNT COME. THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS THIS IS THE 5TH TIME ITHIN TWO DAYS WHERE ITEMS HAVE EITHER BEEN MISSING OR DAMAGED
I ordered 4 packages of this flour and they only sent one. The worst thing is that they billed it to me. They should be more attentive when verifying the quantities.
The bag was busted open. Not sure that the quality of this bag shpild be trusted. This is the second order THIS WEEK that has has DAMAGED items
Cannot use as bag is completely open at the top. How could associate not see this? Now no flour for thanksgiving cooking as I will be afraid to use as it came in another bag with a different name.
My item was open and unfortunately now I have to throw this item in the trash because it could have been contaminated. Highly upset because I spent my money on this and it's now wasted.
