NOTICE… NO handle. They actually are sold this way! Why GE? Why would I want a wine cooler without a door handle?
Love this wine cooler with red & white zones. Saw some incorrect complaints about the bottom 2 shelves not fitting wine bottles. They will absolutely fit regular wine bottles but not the pinot noir shaped bottles so just know that when stocking
Product looks great in my bar area. I have had other monogram products and always happy. Service is the best!
I'm giving the wine refrigerator 4 stars since the handles are sold separately. My prior monogram included the handles. Much more $ now. Still looks good.
Looks great, chills our wines perfectly, Cheers to all.
Be aware that this cooler is designed for short, thin based wine bottles. Typically chardonnay and pinto bottles have wider bases than cab's. Wider based bottles barely fit into top racks and do not fit at all on the bottom racks, nor do bottles that are slightly longer than average.
So disappointed in this product. Bought all pieces range, refrigerator, beverage drawers, dishwasher and wine fridge. All look great. one of the best is the beverage drawersBUT this wine refrigerator is AWFUL. It is for wine and you cannot fit a white wine bottle, pinot or champagne in here. Rips the labels right off. If the bottle is too tall can't put it in. I do not understand why this wasn't tested. I want to return this item. It does not serve the purpose. The handle (statement) doesn't fit right. It is at an angle and shows the fitting . HORRIBLE fit. For the price point this is the biggest disappointment ever. I would never recommend to anyone.
We splurged and got this installed in our new home and I have been so sadly disappointed! It looks beautiful BUT anything other than skinny bottles DO NOT fit! I am beyond mind boggled that GE even sells this product because it does not fit wine? I drink chardonnay and had to remove 3 of my shelves in order for them to fit correctly, what? This is a ridiculous product and totally false adverting
If you only like wine in skinny bottles than this is the wine cooler for you! Any other bottle shape forget it, the bottles hit the racks above and below. It is mind blowing that the brain trust at Monogram let this product go to market like this. I am okay with pulling out a shelf to fit magnums but any 750ml bottle should fit. I should have bought a Sub Zero. I pulled only the middle drawer of the three sticking out in the photo. And why does the door not match the door and drawers on the Monogram ice maker and double drawer fridge????? Would look much better if they all matched.
The unit looks very nice on the outside but the design on the inside is very poor. The pull out shelves fit only the straight slim wine bottles - anything larger, even just a slight bit, crashes into the shelf above and you have to literally force the shelf closed amidst a loud rattling. Overall - outside of the range (which is great) we have been very disappointed with the design of the monogram products. They are not very user friendly for the intended purpose and the above is the example I give to others as it is easiest to grasp. Wine bottles come in various shapes and sizes and to design a wine fridge to accept only a specific type seems short sighted.
