[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Frigidaire washer / dryer saves so much space in my laundry room. The drum of the washer is way deeper than expected and the dryer works really well…without getting overly hot (cooling feature). Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this new washer and dryer. It's quiet. It's proficient. And beautiful. My clothes smell, fresh and clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful laundry center. Clothes come out clean, smelling fresh and spin dries so well. Only had to use dryer 12-15 minutes to completely dry. Love the quick wash. I was amazed by how quiet it runs which is important when you live in an apartment. I am careful when loading washer to place like weight items evenly in basket and never had any unbalanced load issues. I had a unit similar about 20 years ago and am impressed with improvements over time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit because our house has a small laundry closet. It fit perfectly while still being big enough to handle our laundry loads. The wash cycles run quicker than our previous washer, which was also new but from a different company. The clothes come out almost dry from the washer, so the dryer gets done quickly too but the clothes dont feel too hot. It's easy to use and has multiple settings. I also love that you don't have to "break your back" bending over or reaching for anything like traditional side by sides or other stacked washer and dryers. I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has changed my life! I needed a washer for my condo that would allow me to have space for storage. I was nervous about getting rid of my side by side units and getting this because I thought I would t be able to do as much laundry. Turns out I filled up the washer and had to go looking for more dirty laundry to fill it! I haven't lost the ability to keep the same size loads of laundry as I did before! I also managed to clear up space in my laundry room for storage and maybe even my cats litter box! I'm so happy with this unit! The dryer was super speedy and quite too! Living in a small place it's very important for the noise to be quiet since my sons room is right across the hall! Not to mention no more bending over to get laundry out! I love my laundry center! No complaints!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting used to the more modern updated version of our old one that's still working after 18 years. The new one does a great job both washing and drying just seems like it's slower and more noisy than the old one. Lots more electronics and safety seems to slow things down. Hopefully it will provide service for the next 18 years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 buttons on the control panel are reversed. Quality control should have caught this before the stacked washer/dryer was shipped out. Who can I contact get this corrected, now that my appliance is installed? See the picture below, "water level" gives 3 choices hot, warm, cold. "water level" gives 3 choices: max, med. low.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first stacked w/d, and the first set we've owned that has the more sophisticated digital components, so there's been a bit of an adjustment period. We've had it for a week and have done a few different types of loads and selected the wash cycle that matches on the washer -- Bulky Items (dog bed plus some towels), Heavily Soiled items (several small rugs), and a "Normal" load of everyday clothes. We timed each of these different cycles and compared to our prior washer; this washer does seem to take noticeably longer. The heavily soiled, large load took about 1 hr 45 min; the bulky items and normal (large) load took about an hour each. The quality of the wash that the clothes received is very good, and the spin cycle seems to work extremely well. Regarding the dryer, for the Normal large load of clothes that were washed, we used the "Normal" cycle on Medium heat. It had been going for an hour and had not entered the "cooling" cycle yet so I checked the clothes and they were completely dry so I pulled them out before cycle was complete. My old dryer would have taken about 90 minutes to dry a load like this, so this dryer seems superior. We used the Timed Cycle for the other 2 loads and it took about 70-75 minutes to dry those, which again was better than our prior dryer. A few other items of note: 1) if you're like me and prefer to add your liquid detergent by running it under the water as the water is filling the tub, to make sure it distributes evenly, you won't be able to do that. The water won't start or continue filling the tub if the lid is open. 2) You are able to put your bleach in the little dispenser at the start of the wash, and it dispenses it at the appropriate time for you, which is nice; you don't have to wait a few minutes into the cycle like a lot of other washers. 3) To rebalance a load, you must first press "Pause" then open the lid and rebalance, then hit "Play/Resume" to restart (we had to consult the Owners Manual after we couldn't figure out why the machine wasn't re-starting after we rebalanced). 4) There is a "Quick Wash" option for small, lightly soiled loads that only takes 35 minutes. So if you're not a laundry procrastinator like me, this is a nice feature. Overall, besides the washer taking longer than our prior models, and the learning curve associated with a new, more sophisticated machine, we are very happy with the product's performance.
Dryer never worked from day 1. Technician replaced 3 parts still found motor to be messed up. Said to use it because can't hurt it while waiting on motor. Also add that it was not greased from factory. So tried washer for first time and it leaked. No cosmetic damage from delivery just a piece of junk.
This combo is one of the most annoying appliances I have ever owned. It beeps constantly... when you open it, if you don't start it right away, and most annoyingly, every few minutes when a cycle ends. YOU CAN'T TURN THE BEEPING OFF! Forget putting on a load and taking a nap or deciding I just want to finish what I am doing before I get that. BEEP....BEEP...BEEP....BEEP....
