This is the best lip product I've tried!! I would love to wear lipstick, but I have pretty dry lips, (and tiny ones at that,) so it just doesn't seem to work out. I'm obsessed with burt's bees tinted lip balm, but this is like a huge step up! I got the color Nectar Pink, hoping for a peachy, slightly orangey pink...if that makes sense. And this is perfect! Subtle, but the color is definitely there. And it's so moisturizing! I can't wait to try other colors. Thanks Julep :)
My lips is what I usually skip when applying makeup. I dislike regular lipstick and dislike even more lip gloss and having to reapply it throughout the day. I love the Lip Crayon, it is easy to apply, creamy, long lasting, and perfect for cute kisses!
I forgot to cancel my monthly box and saw this lip crayon heading my way. I wasn't super thrilled because I haven't liked any of the colors that Julep has ever sent me. Well, this one was a surprising win for me! I got the blossom pink and it's literally the perfect shade for me!! It goes on so smooth and lasts all day. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love these!! I got 3 shades and they're all amazing. They feel great going on, are relatively hydrating, and stay on for a while (they do come off if you're drinking a lot though so keep that in mind).
LOVE this color and it goes on so smooth! Feels very moisturizing! Only complaint is it is less than 3/4” long. Most lipsticks are about twice that length for the same or lower price.
I bought this last month in Magenta Plum Creme, it is a beautiful color. I absolutely love it. I love the lip crayons, with balm.
I now own three of these in fuchsia berry, flamingo pink, and Cardinal red with nude on the way. The color lasts a long time and I find them to be very rich so a little goes a long way. A julep favorite for me!
I purchased the Aurora Pink Creme and it's a beautiful light pink color. It is so smooth and creamy and not sticky at all. It lasts awhile too! Even after drinking it's still there...even though it still leaves lip balm marks on my water bottle, which I don't mind. This is just enough color for every day wear. It's definitely my new go-to lip balm!
I want to start by saying the I LOVE this product! It's nice and light, doesn't dry on your lips or feel to tacky, goes on like chapstick and hydrates well. I have ordered it twice, once in Toasted Almond and once in Apricot Nude, and have had 50/50 luck with the color matching the example on the website. Toasted Almond is fantastic, but unfortunately Apricot Nude was much, much lighter than what was suggested. Where the picture had displayed a light neutral pink, what I got instead was almost white with very little color in it. I confess this color disparity has made me a little gunshy about experimenting with their colors in the future, and I may stick to safer tones from here on out. Would absolutely recommend the product for its functionality, just be wary of the colors!
I switched out a product from my July box for this. I couldn't wait to get it from seeing the examples. Apricot nude went on my lips as white it was awful like Halloween makeup. I've never been so disappointed in a lip crayon or with a julep product thus far. Julep please reach out to me about your product, maybe something's wrong with it? I would recommend if if the color was more accurate.
