Our granddaughter was so excited when she opened it. She loves it.
this is great for young viewers first telescope. With your cell phone it has an app that will tell you what constellation or stars you are looking at. really like it myself too.
Very well made. Love how the app guides you. Way better value than similar telescopes in the same price range. Buy it
Our first impression was not good -- product is very lightweight, feels flimsy which didn't leave us feeling good about the purchase. Super clear night last night so we took it outside for first time. Kids gave up trying to see anything. My husband got it to focus so we know it's working but we felt like it took work to use it which we didn't expect. My kids are older teenagers, not small children. Kids want to keep it and learn to use it so I am withholding final judgement. We love the idea of using our phones to help us know what we are seeing, so here's to hoping a Dad lesson on using a telescope gets us looking at the stars soon.
This is not very sturdy and we have had difficulties viewing anything so far.
Lots of cheap plastic, not easy to use. The app and the scope aren't well aligned. The app can't get you close enough to find a star, even with the wide lens. If you did happen to find the star, good luck getting the scope to stay in position long enough to switch lenses to look close up. Very disappointed. Not worth $50, maybe would have been happy for $10 or $20.
I bought this for my daughter for xmas. Easy to assemble and light weight. We just can't see anything. I have looked for youtube videos as well as read the instructions over again. It is disappointing due to the fact that it was for xmas.
Santa brought this for 10 years old daughter for Christmas. she was so excited to be able to see stars and planets but all we can see is a little bit of light. We hoping to see more details.
