I bought this keyboard for my nine year old daughter for Christmas. It has exceeded my expectations. She loves it.
I LaLaLaLove This! I bought this on one of my little online-maniac-shopping-sprees because I felt I needed to be more musically inclined. It was sooooo easy to learn how to play! It shows you notes, has a headphone port (for when I don't want to wake up my sister at 3 am), microphone port, and I can plug my iPod into it! This is great for beginners! The only thing is I wish It had more songs to play for me to learn. Anyways, bottom line, I'm keeping it, and starting piano lessons.
A nice learning tool, that is also fun.
Bought this for my Grandaughter's graduation--she hasn't stopped playing--Fantastic!!!!!!
This is a fun product to use, loaded with features, easy to use, everyone in the family has fun playing.
This Casio keyboard outclasses all in this price range. Polyphony capable of any number of keys played, lighted keyboard teaches and key sensitivity is perfect. Five octave capable. My only disappointment is rather with the programmed songs not matching up with the included songbook. Of course, I didn't buy the keyboard for the music book that comes with it, but it would be easier to learn if the songbook matched.
I have 3 girls (3, 5, 6) and they all love it! I played piano 20+ years ago and have enjoyed the lessons and options the keyboard provides. What is the best about the keyboard, because we also have a piano, is that the headphones allow you to play around without annoying any other people in the home.
After less than 24 hours after purchase, the power adapter quit working. Trying to contact Casio for support, their recommendation was to return the unit (complete no just power adapter) for warranty. No provisions for shipping were offered other than a return address. A quick online check found a replacement power adapter for less than $15.00. Unit works correctly with new adapter. I think Casio support could be more receptive to customers needs.
