I love these Halloween bowls for my granddaughter. It seems sturdy enough for a child. It's dishwasher safe and microwave safe, but we never put plastic in the microwave. These do actually claim to be BPA free polypropylene plastic which is very good. We can also use these for picnics as well as for use at Halloween time. There are plates and cups to match and other colors to choose from. I am very satisfied with this item and I definitely recommend it to others.
Got a set of the Mainstays Halloween colored dishes. We’re trying to eliminate unnecessary paper waste so these inexpensive reusable plastic-ware is perfect for our needs and for use for our kids. This review is for the 38oz bowl. The bowl is perfectly sized for cereal or soup, meaning not too wide and shallow, but a good height for dipping your spoon into it. I love the retro purplish tie dye colors. The greenish splashes make it especially pop out and ghostly for Halloween. The weird thing about the set is that the splashes of color, whether the green or black, are more apparent inside the dish, than outside, the part that people see when they’re not using the dish themselves. When used, the colors aren’t as apparent as they are covered by food or liquid. Just wanted to mention this – it doesn’t detract from the overall ghoulishness of the set. Really like that the dish is made of BPA-plastic, and can be microwaved as well as washed in the dishwasher - convenient so you don’t have to think or worry about it. Nice for Halloween or even to use for everyday purposes.

It indicates it top-rack dishwasher safe and safe for microwave use. However, I do not microwave plastic. The colors are deep and have lasted through several washings with no fading. This is a great size for kiddos. One of my photos shows it with the matching plate and cup. These are sold separately.
Although said to be cereal bowl, this bowl is great for fruits and just about anything cool. I am currently using it for my fruits, especially my grapes so handy. Love the color, bright orange and cannot be lost among my other stuff. Light weight and just lovely.
This Polyproplene Plastic 38 ounce plastic cereal bowl in tie dye orange has a smooth flat surface. It is microwave and dishwasher and is BPA free. The orange and black tie die is perfect for Halloween festivities. It is durable and should it get knocked off the table won't shatter. I recommend this bowl.
Great plastic “Halloween” bowl! This is the perfect size for any of your snacking or meal needs. Would be great by the campfire or sitting on the couch. Was advised as a Halloween bowl due to the tie-dye purple, but I just like it for everyday use. I also like that it is top rack dishwasher safe! Highly recommend!

The color is vibrant and has lasted through several washings with no fading. The design is wide versues tall and deep, making it a great cereal bowl (double serving size!). It would also be a great salad bowl, as well as soup, but I do not usually have hot foods in plastic, though it os BPA free.
This translucent orange Mainstays 38-ounce cereal bowl is very sturdy and durable. It is PERFECT for the Halloween season and will even carry on further into the Fall season too. It's perfect for children or really any age. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, which is awesome!
This is a great-sized bowl for cereal lovers. It is very cool-looking as well, and I think the translucence makes it look more chic and less cheap. It is sturdy but not brittle. I've had no problems microwaving it and used it to eat pasta. This would be great for college students. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is top rack dishwasher only. Being that it is such a large bowl, it does take up a lot of room on the top dishwasher rack.
This plastic bowl feels like it will hold up well. I put it in the dishwasher on the top shelf with no problem. I love the size which is great for a big bowl of cereal. The purple color is good and I plan to look for more colors. If you want a good plastic bowl for your kids, this is it.
