I really like this monitor. I don't have any problems with static and it seems to have pretty good range. I love that I can turn the light or sounds on from the remote without having to go into the room. The only thing that I don't like about it is that if you are carrying the handheld part around, it is easy to accidentally push one of the sound buttons which turns it on in the baby's room. Other than that, I have no complaints and am completely satisfied with this monitor.
DOES NOT PICK UP INTERFERENCE!!!! Absolutely LOVE the light and sound activations from both the moitor and remote. It picks up the SLIGHTEST whisper from ACROSS the room!! It is AMAZING how clear this monitor is!! The set up was very easy - Take out of the box, plug into the wall, turn on monitors. GREAT! The music it plays isnt obnoxious and too upbeat for a baby to fall asleep to and the light is bright enough to see your baby but no too bright that it wakes her up. Over all, the only thing this is missing is a screen to see the baby!! - The ONLY down side, there is a little ambient noise that comes from the receiver, however, it doesnt keep you awake. BUY IT!!
I did some research and I am happy with my purchase. I read other reviews that said their was static, but I do not have that problem with mine. I like the light feature and the music option, I like it even more that I don't have to go into the baby's room to turn it on or off!
