2004-05 Tech 6 sole does not have replaceable inserts. Pre-2004 soles also fit most other brands of MX boots with stitched soles. Pre-2004 inserts maintain the original (hard) compound. Soles and inserts are sold in pairs. Soles and inserts are available for the Tech 6 and Tech 8 boots where noted.
